My goal is to earn a lot of money. I play such low stakes that it is proving impossibe. I sometimes make it up to a good stack from freerolls and micros and then have to decide whether to continue the micros or move up above what good money management would dictate. At this point staying with the micros hasn't helped. I think I may play 50% bankroll tournaments, to make or break. Any thoughts?

I'm just learning the game and enjoy it a lot. I'm transitioning from being a top 2% chess player trying to learn how to play a game with considerably more variance. I'm used to winning when I play well, but now sometimes I play amazingly and still lose.

I play poker to get over my expectation that games have to be fair or that life is supposed to be fair in general.

My short term goal is to make an average of 137 bucks a day, that would be enough to make 50k a year, which i believe is a satisfactory amount for someone my age, but long term, I'd love to make the final table of a televised event, and eventually travel the world playing poker for a living, which I'm sure is a goal many of us share.

What's my goal?

Honestly i just want to have fun, while i play poker i forget all the problems that i have in my life. So for me, Poker its like a way out from all of that. I think that if you only play for money youre probably going to loose, but if you just have fun youll get good results.
