Reading the cards wrong can happen to anyone, regardless of whether they have had a drink or not. When it comes to the flush, the 4 colored cards are helpful to avoid it.

I was playing a cash game enjoying a cold drink and floped a flush,
I thought. I had A 2 of hearts and 3 hearts came up on the flop, so I
started betting and after the river came I lost with A high.I looked at my hold
cards and noticed a water droplet on my tablet, wiped it off and noticed
my 2 of hearts was a 2 of diomands. Anybody else ever misread there hand?
Try using the 4 colour deck, you won't make that mistake again.

Once Playing A/A I went all the way to the river with what I believed was a Full House when the flop came A,6,6, unfortunately I had A/4 and he beat me playing 6/7.
Mistake's are quite easy when you get into a hand, mainly because I do not like to look at my cards a second time, once I decide to play them, I will look at them once, memorize them, and play until the river or I fold them, looking repeatedly at your hole cards is usually a sign of weakness I don't want players to pick up on, so I avoid doing it.
I always play with a 4 colour deck these days when I play on-line so that I don't miss a flush hand, It takes a while to get used to seeing 4 colours but I don't mistake them any more, The only problem now is, Is my flush bigger than my opponents flush? Even hitting the nut Flush hand with the ace in your hand can be beaten if a straight flush is possible after the flop, turn and river cards are dealt.
Even a full house becomes a possibility if the board pairs at any time, so playing careful or trying to trap your opponent, can backfire on you.

When the fun Stops, STOP!

I also thought live a long time ago that I have a flush but I mixed spades and clubs, luckily it was against a short stack

I also often confuse A4 with AA when I play a lot of tables.

I'd like to add yet another comment about using four-color decks. As if we haven't already read the same comment twenty times. But its true, you won't ever make this mistake again... until you play live, since I haven't ever seen one casino using four-color decks yet.

Yeah, there were funny cases when I accidentally missed and pressed all-in, or thought it was a straight, it's a pity that the opponent didn't think so)

Yep, I've done that one a couple of times too. Especially late at night near the end of online tournaments when I'm starting to feel punchy.:D

I think this happens to everybody at least once in their poker career. I know it has happened to me. Yes I did lose the hand,

Not misread my cards online. But I have misremembered them in a live hand. I now look more often, people can read what they lile into me re-looking at my cards.
