Who Inspired You to Learn to Play Poker

I would be one of the many that watched Chris Moneymaker win in all from entering a $40 online satellite. After that I started to learn how to play Holdem.
Bought a bunch of books. Harrington on Holdem was one of my favorites.
Watched every poker show on TV. You could says I was obsessed.

As a kid, a cousin showed me how to play poker but I didn't know any poker player at the time, but now that I play on a more regular basis I could say that my inspirations is Negreanu, when I'm playing bad poker I watch Rounders and start feeling better, the movie inspires me too!

Got a life lesson from my dad on nothing being easy and fool with their money. Poker was the source of the example while in middle school.

Few high school buddies taught me during snow days. Started with draw and stud. Graduated to crazy home games in college and shortly thereafter learned hold'em and omaha on my own due to the tv craze.

I started learning to play poker when my neighbor showed me one of the poker rooms and explained that you can play online poker for free and passing the training for free that's when I began to take training and two years have passed since then

There is surely no one person for me. It was definitely not one person who ever told me to play poker or attracted me to the game, I wanted to be something else but I have been sucked into it due to life choices narrowing down as I failed studies.

I have no regrets and embrace this game.

Nobody inspired me. One day I played with my colleagues who were regular poker players. And I won, having no experience. So I thought that I'm good and started playing.

I am a beginning player, poker it the entire world in that very well cognize itself. A game brings very much emotions that we hide at the table and splash out when we are not at a table.
