Why do I play poker?

Having the drive to compete and to the opportunity to learn and grow my game is a big reason i play. Its always fun true but it can be a mentally and physically draining enjoyment. You get out of it what you put in.

A,B,C. Because I love this game. I think poker is the smartest and certainly the most exciting card game.Fun standing there in the first place of course, but the money is already a nice bonus.

i play poker because i just love the game it is so fun to play with unlimited posibilitise of card combinations and even though the money is an added bonus if you are playing for the love of the game you dont put as much pressure on yourself than if you are solely playing for the money

I like the tension, the entertainment and the gameplay with other players.

When I started, it was for dreams of making money. After 10 years, I've realized that I don't have the skill and discipline to risk moving up the limits. I can make some small money playing the micro stakes, but realize I would not last long at higher stakes.
I still enjoy the game, and I still get a thrill of winning. My bankroll now is seen as my "scoreboard". It tells me if I am winning or loosing.

I enjoy getting to play online poker used to play alot before black friday hit poker was alot more fun then but still enjoy it and times you can't go to the casino which i love live poker.
