It seems to me that they are not different things, you can play to earn money and have fun at the same time.
How nicer than being able to do something that you like and that is remunerated

I play for money but in lower limits where i don't care when i loose money. I would apprecciate anybody to play only in limits who you can offer because you don't play your a-game if you are afraid to loose money. So i would say i play for fun for money.

I used to play poker for only fun, but right now i play for the money more ( ofcourse there is a little fun in there)
But one thing is certain and that is if you don't love your work you will never be happy doing it for whatever money you make with it:joyman::joyman:

It depends on what the setting is, if your with your boys playing a $10 home game its fun but if your on the bubble of a $215 satellite with 4 bigs....its not real fun then.

I play for both.
For the fun in the first place, because I play more relaxed, without charging me so much and if I win some money, the fun is even better.
When I play for money I make a lot of mistakes because of the worry of not losing so much. I'm still trying to get a handle on this.

I play for both. I'm pretty much house bound, therefore playing helps past the time. And I play for money. I don't make much, but since my only income is Social Security every penny helps.
Somedays maybe win a few dollar and some days maybe .25 cents. Then there are days I win nada (nothing).
