I don't understand why you decided that!? There are many things that don 't happen in the game ! I don 't agree with your opinion . A good player will take his own anyway . Not this time , so another time . Yes , all players have a tilt . You need to be able to wait it out properly .

A good player relies primarily on his ability to play, not on luck and a bad player constantly hopes for luck !!!

Unfortunately in poker the skill factor is not the determining factor, even more if we are talking about microstakes.

If you play every day, you will see bad players beat good players every day.
Something that is difficult to understand and accept... however (as everyone says) in the long run things will even out and if you really are better than the other player history will tell you.

Well, if it's like you said, I'm the best player in the world, think of an unlucky guy, that guy is me.:ROFLMAO:
But jokes aside, I think there's not much to it, the good player knows what he's doing at the table, and sometimes he'll lose to variance.
On the other hand, the bad player will win some hands by luck, but in the long run he will be in deficit.

I think its because only 10% of online players make a profit, while 75% of players think they are good.

They just play a lot and are often shown at the tables.

It only seems at first glance. For good players, the concept of luck in poker is practically non-existent.

First you have to make sure that this player is really good.

If he goes, he won't always win, the variance will make him lose.

And even though it's good, sometimes luck will win.

So, first you have to know if it's really good or just guessing, then draw conclusions.

This is pretty simple to answer in my opinion:

You can't suck out when you get it in good.

I.E. when you get it in with great E.V. you can only really get "unlucky" and when you put it in with bad E.V. you can only really get "lucky".

This is why they say when you are only ever getting sucked out on and never sucking out - you're playing too tight.

;)

I think poker is luck but when you go all-in preflop all the time for example, you don't know the table, but trust your cards, doesn't it feel like a casino? and go by luck. There is no best hand before the flop, in my opinion the best hand is the hand that hits. Have I ever come into a table where KK, AK was folded all-in because risking everything in one play? the best players are less all-in pre-flop and go out of strategy rather than luck.

There is truth to that statement. I believe that I play well and make good decisions during a game. The odds should really even out over time in terms of running good or running bad. I have noticed that I’m getting Rivered more frequently year over year- and that is completely out of my control. Therefore luck has and holds a lot of weight in terms of the last card that’s played. If the river is not in my favour then clearly luck is not on my side. It doesn’t matter how good of a player you are the rivers out of your control. If you’re constantly getting river and losing based on the last card played the game isn’t fun. You would think luck would change and maybe start running good one of these years… I have now become sceptical of online poker sites because of this fact or is it fiction? Lol.. There’s nothing worse than playing well and going deep into a tournament and constantly/consistently getting rivered and then eliminated.. it’s brutal. What the $uck!? Or luck - lack of… lol

Screw the advice I gave!

Poker is craps, and that's it!

I agree with you, this opinion is often found among novice players, who have very little experience.
