Cardschat Ambassador Dara O'Kearney has just launched his 4th poker book - GTO Poker Simplified.

It is the first book to boil down GTO to the fundamentals so that any player can understand it.

GTO Poker Simplified dispels the myth that you need to be a genius to understand game theory in poker. It provides easily digestible and actionable changes you can make right now that will quickly bring your game up to speed in the modern era. This book takes the mystery out of GTO for good. It contains groundbreaking insights that many professional poker players are not aware of, including:

  • How to play your range instead of your hand
  • When blockers determine when to bluff or make huge hero calls
  • How to construct unexploitable ranges
  • The optimal bet sizing strategies, from small bets to overbets
  • The way to choose the best bluffs and value bets
  • How to adapt these strategies against recreational players or top professionals
GTO Poker Simplified

Win a free copy
You can win one of five digital copies of the new book. As you may know, Dara has a long running Ask Me Anything thread on Cardschat where he answers your strategy questions. All you have to do to have a shot at winning is to ask a question in the thread between November 27 and December4. We will raffle five winners on or after December 5.

Ask Dara O'Kearney anything

Looks and sounds very useful! 👍

Will have a pop at winning a free copy but is it available for purchase in print too or only digitally? 😊

This is great!
But unfortunately, as far as I can see the copy is in English and therefore I won't be able to read it(

How much of this GTO play changes when playing in live/tournaments?

Hi Dara,

Do you think poker will be around for many years to come? Or do you think its in decline?

I just read the first pages and can answer my question I posted in the thread already. 🤣

Finished Chapter 1 and can tell I'm going to like it.
I've also got Andrew Brokos' book which I see you've recommended ... looking forward to diving into it as well.
