Some good poker players perceive sports bets as a holiday, although this too can be profitably with a reasonable approach :)

Usually if I win my bet I lose it later at the poker table :) I recommend to play poker in other software not in the same where you just made your bet ;)

I like a weekend football accumulator but that's about it. Also like the Craps tables but I play for fun, no expectation of winning.

I almost never gamble on anything besides poker. Things are so out of your hands in horse-racing, I feel a little better about it when the cards are in my hands and a good or bad play can influence the outcome.

Horse racing has horrible odds,,,stick to $2 triactors as such,,then if you `hit` you can win a few $ with minimal loses. As for `sports` betting,if you follow sports, anyone knows their are ebbs and flows to any team and if you catch a good team to lose or vice versa, you can really `cash` in! $$$ ;)

Do anyone else win at poker but blow it on sports bets as I do all the time! I won a tourney for about 800 pounds then I blew it in the bookies on the horses as I love horse racing
Horse racing betting probably is one of the most unpredictable forms of betting, unless you play it on regular basis and may be progressively. If you wish to bet now and then you better stick to more predictable sports like football or tennis, especially in-play when favourite is behind [emoji6]

That happens to me really often aswell. It feels pretty bad, because I don't play high stakes poker and then I lose my winnings.

I think in the last calendar year I've bet less than $1 on casino gambling that isn't poker. Maybe I'll play black jack or pull a slot for fun once in a blue moon but it's certainly not a leak that I need to repair.

As for sports gambling, I do it from time to time but have always been able to keep it under control. Once again, no real leak to plug.

My leak ... woman and booze. Get enough liquor in me and god knows what I'll hand to a stripper.

I just won the cardschat freeroll on sports betting poker for $60 and I then transferred it to my sports book wallet and bet it all on the Mayweather/McGregor fight. I bet $30 at +575/McGregor by TKO/KO/DQ any $30 at +1200/McGregor wins in Rd 4-6.

Next time just direct your money to paypal, make a withdrawal, go to the store, purchase a lighter and light it on fire.

Well you're betting against Mayweather so lighting your money on fire must be a viable option for you.

So ... yes?

It's nonsensical, burning money has zero possibility for return. What I'm doing is gambling and getting those odds on a fighter whose younger, faster, stronger and bigger. I think I'll take it. Floyd's 40 and hasn't fought since sept of 2015 because he retired.

Better you just continue without poker where luck does not influence so much or so if you specialize in other forms of gambling you want to bet your money otherwise you will never leave the 0
