On Full Tilt , almost all the money I got from depositing and playing freerolls/games , I played them on the casino slots , now I don't do that , I am carefull . I just play some sports bets sometimes for fun in case I hit the jackpot of my luck , a very small amount of money , I play most of the times scores of matches .

Casino and sports betting there are for a reason. And that reason is not to let you earn more easily.
Like many else, I have only lost in casinos in the long run, no profits there. And when I understood that, I quit casino for good.

When that cursos approaches casino button... "DO NOT FOOL YOURSELF" - I say.

My poker bankroll is never spent on anything other than poker. Any gambling (horses, football, blackjack, craps) comes from a separate fund.

I have a similar situation. I also pretty often win money in poker tournaments, but then I lose everything at sports betting. I think it is necessary to stop playing at a sports bet because it only brings me losses.

I've been through like that, I'm taking money for poker, and I'm spending it on football, I said no more betting or other games, you just need to concentrate on one game that is good for you and will be a success.

live poker view how to stop going to pits

hey all new to website seems great place to talk poker and has some free rolls i play live alot was wondering if anyone else has had this problem in past as seem to have. Ok so i tend to win very large clip in poker room about 80% time but tend to go downstairs to pits and slot machines that are all negative ev this situation can never turn out good any good suggestions to break such bad reoccuring habit any suggestion's would be greatly appreciated

Are you saying that you go to cash your chips and cant resist playing the slots because they are close by? If so.. you just have to ignore the slots IMO. If you want to keep your money then don't play them, but if you want to lose money then do play them (or just light the money on fire, as the end result will usually be about the same).

You know that over time you can't win at the slots. I find them to be an interesting diversion every once in while, but I lose my fascination pretty quickly unless I happen to get lucky and win.

Of course, I only play when the casino comps me free slot money and I only play till the free money runs out. They gave me $25 recently which for some unexplained reason I was able to parlay into $500 cash. I KNOW that wasn't supposed to happen and don't pretend otherwise.

I've seen some regs where I play just keep their chips and bring them next time. Maybe cash in once a week or month, depending how often you go. Slots don't take chips lol

In my opinion, this is not the best idea to play such games. This is definitely a very simple and fast way to spend money. If you understand your problem then you have to understand how to solve it. I think that you just need to stop playing. Try to take a break for a month.

Every game in which you play against casino favors the casino. It is completely normal. No matter if it is roulette, blackjack, baccarat or whatever else you will lose in a long run. Every game where everything depends on luck like lottery, bingo and so on gives you very thin chance to win in general.

Regarding sports betting - many people think that just like poker there is skill involved in sports betting too. This is not exactly correct. In poker there are two elements that you can use in your favor. One of it is the monitoring of the other players on the table and trying to get some information which you can use in your favor. The other is your own play which is helped by using the information from your analyze. In sports betting you only have the first component available - you can get some information to base your predictions on but you can not effectively influence anything.

I personally treat poker as game of skill with elements of luck. Sports betting is something between poker and games based on pure luck. My personal advice would be to treat sports betting as pure gambling and not invest money that you can not afford to loose on it.

Just keep in mind that poker is game of skill with elements of luck while slots and other casino games are just pure gambling and you will lose in a long run playing at them inevitably. If you win at poker and you want also to play on slots, roulette or something like that just take part of your winnings from poker (for example 10%) and use them for gambling but take the rest home with you.
