why do not many women play poker. think that they should play more closely because the woman is more sensitive and calmer than the men and afraid to risk too, so they hardly bluff.

Always bad to make generalizations of that kind about any race/gender.

Many reasons they arent in poker as much, mostly goes back to poker being very much a "boys club".

The % in the game is slowly growing tho!

More and more females are joining the poker world. It’s quite often on Acr that the table is mixed evenly. Although you can never be sure if it’s really a woman. Some of them are getting quite good too.

It’s a shame that poker has become so dominated by men. I think it’s because sports betting and gambling are popularised as things which guys do and can be seen as distasteful by women. People need to do more to make women a larger part of the game- I think a lot of women never get introduced to poker and never get to experience it at all.

In sports, games and life itself some activities are dominated by men and other by women. This is completely normal but in today's world which becomes more and more global and liberal there is no problem women to be part of men dominated activities and vice versa so i expect more and more women to play poker in future.

I don't think women like sitting around a bunch of smelly, drunk old farts to play a game when they rather sit in the sun or nail parlor or shopping. Or having sex with your neighbors while you're at the table.

Calm women, I know few I am particularly calm. but I agree that they should have more women in poker this is changing and I hope that it changes more and more. not online and much more comfortable a woman play, and a little strange for me to still play live, but I intend to venture further.
