I do not see that there should be discrimination in women in playing poker.
Poker is a community game where the presence of people is the most important, the more people play poker, the better the game.
I love meeting women in the game, even more so if I go face-to-face so I can flirt a bit with women.

Maybe They Are Ashemed

I think that the women don´t play poker because they are ashemed.Poker or another type of cards is played mostly by men.

I still miss more women playing poker, I've taught more than 30 women to play and I think you should encourage more women to play poker.

I am a female poker player. I play with a lot of the same men since I play at a local poker room. One of the men told a new guy the other day to watch out for me because I do not play like a woman. I did not know whether to take it as a compliment or an insult, but he said he respects my play. So I guess it was a compliment.

It seems like a compliment but seems very old fashioned of him to say that. Theres plenty of bad male poker players so gender has nothing to do with poker.

I'm afraid my post will be met negatively, but I think some generalizations about female players are true, particularly about them playing passively and indecisively. I play at local casino all the time and I've yet to meet loose-aggressive female players. For sure there are some exceptions to the rule, but not in Cambodia I guess.

I think women should analyze more carefully ... the reason why a men get better results ... what men do well that women dont? Do they do something wrong? What is your game philosophy? Do they have a different reading of situations?

In my opinion the woman lacks cold blood at the time of an aggression ... the term that should be studied and perfected is: cold blood.

I guess that a woman can become dominant but with the help of some coach who indicates her defects and virtues when she makes an choice.
