I will always be a recreational player, I do not relish the idea of playing for high stakes or playing for days on end to try and make a living from it.
Poker for me is a game and always will be just that. To a professional player it is a job like any other job and you need to be consistently good to make it a profession.
Too much like hard work and the fun go's out the window.

I am a semi-pro, but I'm hoping once I reach 75 posts and enter into some cards chat freerolls it will motivate me to start grinding again, I think if I had the motivation and bankroll I would be a pro though. I guess you can say, its my mind that is stopping me from being a pro, not so much my ability, and I think a lot of people have this problem as well, not quite ready in the mind to deal with $500 downswings, so stick to micro's.. maybe I am wrong though.

Come on, come on, who doesn't want to go Pro?
But for that you have to be really excellent and this is not the case for everyone, well I'm far from it. So, it's recreational with a few gains every now and then, and that's fine with me.
