It can be done, but stay away from the cash games. I would do sit and goes, where the top 4 win money, and I would do MTTs.

I've done really well in the past three days playing sit and goes and 1000 dollar tourneys( 1.20 buy in).

On bet online, they have three types of sit and goes: top 2 win, top 3, win, top 4 win. The table sizes are no bigger than 8. I usually play the top 4 out of 8 win 2.65. They go no longer than an hour, so you can play 5 of them within 5 hours ( shorter than a tourney), looking to win them all or go 3 out of 5 to make a profit.

So, lately, I have been playing 4 sit and goes in the day, and a tourney in the evening. I just won 63 dollars over the past three day.

I wouldn't do cash games because, even though you can expand your hand range, you're still going to have to play tight because of the stakes ,even if its just a 1 or 2 dollar buy in. Your monetary risk is already capped in a sit and go and tourney. Plus in a micro cash game you're grinding out just a few cents at a time.

Inevitably the entire $10 seed money will be lost, and would continue to accumulate more losses playing. On a different session, there would be $40 or $50 profit instead of only $10.

I would play freerolls and .01/.02 cash game or .50 9 man stt

In cash games, the same condition that you have to win a lot of money in a short time or days, you have to lose.
In tournaments, you can win up to 500 times the buy-in in the single day.
This is the case with tournaments of great value such as above $ 5,200, a professional player can win more than $ 1 million in this event.

I would try between the first and second option, being aware that some days it will not turn out as planned

Only 10 a day? very easy, just playing that 0.25 / 45 player sit is already very easy to get those 10 dollars a day. I wouldn't risk MTT because the variance is higher and there are many more players, so the easiest way would be the STT.

think I would combine tournaments of 1 dollar and cash micro-limits, that precedes me the best option

I think SNG is the way to go but don t expect each day profit you should follow your profit monthly it's better i think so thonk of it as 300$ each month and try to make 300$ could happen in the first day or the last day of the months

Trying to take ALL of the variance out of the game doensn't make sense - if it were possible to do, you'd need to play at lower stakes and for longer than would be optimal for your best overall long term earning potential.

If it needs to be a daily income , staking or insurance of some sort is better.

7) Don't be silly it's impossible

The better question would be, "how many members make $10 or more a day."
I know one and he shows evidence of doing this.
Most players give their money to the casinos and keep returning to give them more.

If you need to earn these money every day you can't afford to risk everything on one or two MTTs. You need either cash games or sit and go so that you can play enough of them to overcome variance.

Thats pretty much it unless you are not a very good player. Then you might as well take your $10, sit at a 5/10c table, wait for QQ+ and shove.

The general feeling seems that you cannot make money daily, but you can make money weekly/ monthly. I chose $10 as it brings freeroll cashes into play, which I think makes it possible, anything more and you would be wasting your time with freerolls.

I want to give this a go but unfortunately cannot join the big 3 (PS/PPor 888) GG is terrible for micros and FR, ACR is having more downtime than up and my netbet (ipoker) account has been giving an error message for the past 5 days.

I think that having access to 3-5 sites, you can earn $ 10 on freerolls.

Do you have any local online operator specific for your country? In my country there was one for some time and it was full of fish. You can also try bet365 if it is legal in your country. Many sport bettors and casino players also like to play poker and they are not good at it usually. And bet365 attracts quite a lot of them as one of the biggest sports betting companies.

4th option. Once you have some basis, like 50$, you can play 1.10 tournaments and winnings above 50$ can go to higher buy-ins until you can sustain the higher buy-in level. Start with 2.20 and 3.30 buy-ins.

There are some sites with ACR re-skins that may have better uptime.

I think your best option would be a mixed strategy of low buy-in ($1-$2) sit and go/double or nothing where you essentially have to finish in the top 30-50% of a mini-tournament to cash. Your likelihood is far greater in a field of 8 to 10 than in a freeroll with a field of hundreds, or even thousands sometimes.

A good starting point is this thread:

https://www.cardschat.com/forum/tournament-poker-59/ask-collin-moshman-katie-dozier-about-429017//

You can supplement this with low buy-in MTTs and some freerolls until you see which approach brings more consistent results.

Personally, I would avoid cash games like the plague but that's just based on my personal experience. Some people are profitable at cash games and have built up large bankrolls. The benefit of cash games is that you can gather data on regulars and build up HUD stats whereas in tournaments you may not often see the same faces.

Unfortunately poker doesn't work like that! There is no such poker discipline to consistently ply - and doubling your bankroll every day is completely unreal! Poker is a gradual rise and improvement! This is a long distance and not a sprint, besides with always changing conditions!

Your earnings will not always be constant. It is difficult to progress with the requirement to always win. This can even cause the Tilt.

Playing for hours for 10 a day seems like a huge waste of time. Might as well work.

Don't forget that there are dozens of popular rooms with good freerolls and no one bothers you to participate in all possible freerolls at the same time. The only thing that poker takes in this case is your time. But time spent with pleasure and benefit is not considered lost = D

Depending on where youre playing I would play micro sit n gos. $1 nets you $6 for a win, double up for min cash and they last about an hour. You could play for 4-5 hours and triple up having only risked half of your br. If you at least min cash you would be fine.

If you were to play traditional mtt your time commitment to payout ratio wouldnt be feasible. Also youd have to play a ton of tables at once and you wouldnt know where you stand or even have access to your winnings until after your deadline.

how would you go about doing it?

Let's say every morning you get $10 seed money and by 24H00 that evening you have to show $10 profit. 5 days a week.

1) Freerolls? Don't risk the $10
2) Small Mtts (sub $1)
3) Micro cash tables?
4) Play like a NIT on a bigger by in MTT - say $3-$5 and just aim to get ITM.
6) Play like a NIT on a more expensive cash table - just wait for AA , shove and pray.
7) Don't be silly it's impossible
8) A combination of those above
9) Other.

Hi, I like 1-4 options. They are all pretty legit to complete your goal. I can confirm because tried them personally.
