you can live but it costs a lot, you start to think and if this is your day

Yes I can, at least 1 day of the week I rest and I don't play but more than that I can't hehehe

For me its getting harder and harder to stop for awhile do you have any tips so that I could focus on learning rather than playing continuously hoping something will change 🥲
And also how long you stayed without playing poker?
I probably could go a day without poker, but as there are freerolls every day I would feel like I am missing out on free money, however little.

Playing every single day will drive me crazy.

Playing constantly does improve your game it sharpens your skills but a break every week is necessary in order to keep sanity.

Playing 3-5 days a week is usual amount for me.

There are also times of the year that I would 2-3 weeks without playing or even thinking of the game.

It is difficult, but if you take it with a lot of passion. I really like to play, but I know it's not so correct to play every day either. I think poker rest days are important too. Personally I deal with some other hobby, watching series and movies. Maybe go out and play tennis, another of my passions.

Of course. We have to seek to have fun in a healthy way.

If I play too many days in a row I end up getting bored and I don't play for weeks.

Poker is currently a hobby for me. In this regard, if I don't have time, then I may not play for several weeks sometimes.

Normal I think, I think that both recreational and professional people always take a break from the game every certain period of activity

If you treat poker as fun it is much easier to find a balance between fun and daily life. If not then you can talk about addiction and that is no longer fun 😉

maybe this is my psychotype, go my attitude to a hobby, but anyway. in some posts I said that poker is not close to the first priority in my life, but despite the fact that I have been playing for about 1.5 months and have not spent a single day without poker, so far my answer is yes

If the answer to this question is no, then the person has serious addiction problems.
Even if poker is your job, if you can't switch off, you have an addiction problem, that's sad and extremely worrying.

Now looking at the author's answer:
Friend, you fit what I said above, if you can't organize a study, why are you playing every day?
Do you depend on that money (apparently you only lose by seeing your report)?
You are kidding?
Are you trying to improve your people reading?

First you need to know the reason for playing.
Being honest, it will already help to understand.
Knowing this, you can go to the second step, if you are having problems with addiction, search for a support group, seek help, for your own good and that of the people around you.

If it's just fun (I hope that's the case for you), you just need to be more disciplined, not open the program to play.

I see that you have problems with the game but you don't know what's going on.

First, I advise you to try to find out what's going on, find out what your playing style is, and improve your range. (this step is taking into account that you already understand the basic concept of the game and have mastered the math).
The main tip to improve the range is not to overvalue a hand, knowing that, just constantly adjust your range.

I don't know how many tables and what type of game you play, but if you have difficulty or are simply too lazy to review your game, the adjustments can be made during the games, but this can only be done if you have experience to notice changes in the opponents' game , and the main thing is to realize that your flaws are being exploited.

In short, it's hard, without focus and discipline, the money doesn't come.

When you don't have free time, you certainly don't have to play. But when you have time, you can't miss it.

I think that in game programming there should always be a break for a day or two without playing, it should be something natural for every player

It is possible to live a day without poker, but it is very difficult...

Yes, do some breaks after lot playing--2-5 days---watch nature--meet friends and let your soul free 🙂

For me that question is equal to: can you live a day without air? no thanks.

For me, I play daily, but I can stay away from poker.
It is a method used by him to get out of the cycle of successive defeats.
Go away for a while until I feel that I miss playing and have positive energy, so I go back to playing.

If you have several pleasures in your life including poker , then you can combine them.

But what if I want to make a living from poker what should I do then?
Make a living could be great, then You need to take some vacation days at least 4 to 7 days off a month, because we know sometimes a tourney take many days to finish. Some time to study and review hands is great.
Just go to dance with Your girl or go visit your friend or family, ride a bike or horse, go swim. You need to turn off some days for sanity.
You want to make a living with poker not mess your living with poker isn't it? GL and be cool! 🙂😎

My longest break lasted several months. Once, playing drunk, I lost my entire bankroll, and after that I decided for myself that poker is a waste of money and time. After some time, I had the desire to play again, but this time I decided that I will play exclusively in freerolls and will never spend my own money on the game. And I can say that I keep my own promise 🙂

Yes of course, I only really play when I've not got anything else on. If I've got things to do or go to I do that first! Of course if it's a big tournament I make that a priority!

It is more of a hobby for me, so yea I take breaks all the time. I have never looked into it, but can you set daily play limits on your account? I know you can set deposit limits, but how about play time?
