Yes, of course you can. With patience and hard work. Sometimes it can happen a rare time to make big Money fast , but quick Money tends to turn into quick losses

Yeah but you`re going to need a strong mental game, gambling can became an issue. And also acknowledging when to stop, sometimes variances will go against you in important times all day long. I agree that patience and hard work is what will recompense the investment in long terms, in the end that's all that matters.

On average, I play poker 3-5 hours a day. So, on average, I play 25-35 hours a week. I manage to get a monthly profit of $ 300-500. Honestly, it is hard for me to say that I have earned this money quickly.

What limits do you play?

Yes, you can win money in tournaments or cash games, but then after the winnings you need to take a break so as not to lose everything at once, if the player knows how to play and raise a good bankroll then why not win and get a good profit!

Can you make money playing poker? Yes you can, but unless you're playing for rent money that shouldn't be your motivation. I've been playing for many years with decent cash results (tournaments are another story) but the amount I've won is not important and certainly nothing to write home about.

So then, why do I play? I love the game, it's fun, but what makes it fun for me is the mental challenge of always trying to improve. I spend hours per week, thinking about it, reading about it, watching it. It's a hobby, like painting, or knitting, and like any hobby the results are not as important as the effort.

Most players have clear that patience is extremely important to succeed in poker ... however to apply this patience at the time of playing you need a great control of emotions to not rush and make mistakes of playing hands that should not be played ..!

I used to make around 10USD/hr but the variance was insane. And I think at the limits I was playing (1/2 NLHE, 3/6PLO8) it was not really worth it. That was 8-10 years ago.

I'm sure the game got a lot tougher nowadays (and the rake higher) and only with a lot of multi-tabling will you be able to make a decent living in my opinion.

I'm now just into it for fun once in a blue moon.

I do not play cash games. Usually I play in tournaments with a buy-in of 1-5 dollars.

if it's true that you can make money, I did not do much but what little I did I immediately downloaded, I think that the little profit is due to the fact that I do not invest money, since I play based on what I have won thanks to the forum's freerolls

Money in poker earn units of people, it is people, not players! The players are gamblers and these gamblers-players lose money consistently. Me too! Of course this is my opinion, maybe someone thinks otherwise.

I play in a crazy game of PLO at intertops poker that is very beatable most players there are limpng with any 4 while I have a range of top 15 starting hands I have been buying in with $100 in the .50-$1 game and walking away with $300-$600 from the table sometime in 30minutes sometime in 1 1/2 hours if I stay longer sometimes I walk away with $1,000 at a time only because I play like a nit at the game. when I cash out I move down to the low tables. The .02-.04 PLO8 tables and buyin for $4 and leave with $20-$40 by the end of the night the most I lost was when I ran into set on set one night was $50 and I won it right back and more beucase the game is so jucie there at Intertops.

It's easy to make money. I love to build bankroll with freerolls, then move to higher limits. This is my favorite challenge.

I'd like to make money with online poker but cold fact is money(and skill) makes money if you have little money its a long time to build up the skill in your game play...

Freerolls Help but wont make you a millionaire.

Have Fun... dont think about the money too much, obviously "Stop when the fun stops" no pressure and don't mortgage the house to play your next tournament... remember its a game of chance... the best are not the best in every game or hand of play.

The safest option is to work full-time and recreationally play poker. If the winnings in poker far outweigh the earnings of our work over a period of 2 years, then you can try to become a professional player

Hi.
I agree with you. Basically, the money that I win in poker, I use as a buy-in in my interesting tournaments. And, as a rule, money that was easy to get is also very easy to spend. But I try to stick to the bankroll manager system, and because of this, my expenses do not exceed my financial capabilities.
Good luck.
