It’s easy to switch off when you fold—check your phone, wait for the next hand, etc. I used to do that a lot.
But there’s actually so much information to pick up when you’re not involved. Who’s bluffing too much? Who hates folding? Who only bets strong?
I’ve started paying more attention even when I’m out of the hand, and it makes future decisions way easier.
Feels like free information that most players just ignore.
