There are no rule against playing with sickness/fever, but I think you should not go in a live tournament with that.

To be successful in poker, you need to always have a good rest and focus before the game. Attention and quick reaction are important for the ability to make the right decisions. So if you've had a bad night or aren't feeling well, it's better (not only for you, but for your bank account) if you skip one session. Also, if you find yourself losing focus while playing, you can always take a break or end the session early.

since I started playing poker I have never been seriously ill , I think Poker is good for your health .... my only problem in that time that affected my performance at the tables was a hangover and a lot of hangover headaches

No. Newer. I've been sick twice in the past 6 months. I had a fever over 39, a headache, aching limbs and was quite weak. So, in this situation i don't think about poker at all.

When I have a fever, I don't feel like living or doing anything, let alone playing poker...
But if you don't have a headache, it's fine. Due to the fever, it is basically quite difficult to play/work sitting/lying in front of any monitor. When I had covid even watching TV was painful.

Hangover and being sleepy is very bad! Nowadays i dont drunk too much anymore, but sometimes i play late night... soo, i start to being sleepy, wanting my bed and then, BOOM, all-in.

I can play poker while being sick , I think I play a very bad game and cannot focus so good maybe playing a few tables less but i can play .
My advice its don't play poker while being sick if all you can think is poker like when you are sick , I personally watch poker videos and try to improve my game while I don't feel good or I'm sick .
