Defiantly up at both poker and sports betting. Poker I play low limits and live against people I understand I don’t take chances and am well in profit. Wasn’t always that way I probably lost £3k in the first two month “learning” to play. That came back over about a year I’d say when the game was a lot more fishy, the golden age eh.
Sports betting I did arbitrage for a good while and made good profits which easily covers and more any losses I made recreational betting.
Casino games blacks k etc,,,, defiantly down. Not huge numbers but if I had to take a guess… 3-4K down lifetime losses on blackjack etc.

Definitely. I've been playing regularly for over 20 years. The beginnings were obviously difficult, but perseverance and determination, combined with the experience gained over the years, paid off.

Poker should be about the fun the game brings, not a shortcut for you to make money fast. You can win money, but you can also lose everything.

Overall, I’d say I’m slightly positive, but it really depends on volume and mindset. My win rate isn’t huge, but consistent — small, steady profits over time rather than big swings. I’ve learned that focusing on making good decisions every session is more important than chasing short-term results.

Right now I probably am around even. Have not put a lot of money or that much work by any means so could be worse

I've won a lot of things, but I prefer not to mention what I lost, lol.

I have been playing poker for almost 10 years on various platform... My favorite is always been Cash Game - 75-80% of my Poker profits across all various platforms have come from Cash game compared to MTTs (which is has very high variance). I am not a full time player only play occasionally - Therefor my total profits = (Total Withdrawal - Total Deposits) across all platforms = $XX,XXX (5 digit ) only online..

I'm breaking even. Well actually have gained much more than I have spent, thanks to GG poker honeymoon! But even I would be losing some, my principle is that poker is my hobby. Because it is a hobby I allow myself to spend some money on it. Probably money could be spent on poker education, but I consider loosing as learning. There are many more costly hobbies than poker!
Do you guys play for winning money or mastering the game?
