Did you win more money than you lose ?

Yes... It makes me consider that I should be doing it for bigger money, and on a more regular basis... My only problem, is that I hate to lose... I hate to lose in such a way, that I have quit playing live poker for a year, after losing 800 bucks in a day...
this was following 2 consecutive days of 2000+ gain.
I'm am the cheapest, stingiest person ever!
Scrooge is ZERO compared to me!

since i started playing during the poker boom in the mid-late 2000s, i've won more than i lost. same goes for live games. i'm also more mature emotionally so i don't go on tilt. i'm also smart about bankroll management and taking shots at higher levels only when it makes sense

In my entire life i lost much, much more than i won .. And it's only because i dont have enough nerves to play poker for long time period ...

I've got some profit. But not enough to justify time spent playing now that I've got wife and kids. I usually play MTTs, which require quite some time and you may end up wining little to nothing for deep runs. It's a slow grind for which I just don't have enough time as of lately. Now if I were to win a big one like $100k that would make life much easier :captain:

with gambling added to it i probaly evened it out but the profits i made i always blew up on more risky plays/games to get paid more which offcourse almost never goes to well

It's difficult to put a monetary value on experience or on simply enjoying to play the game. In poker there is a learning curve so it is to be expected to lose some money as you get better. I mean, on this site you will likely have answers from recreational players who play poker for fun. If they lose, they lose an amount of money they could afford losing. If they win, it's not life changing money. The pros that make money from poker are staked. They play other people's money and keep a part of the profits.

I gained more than I lost.

Good afternoon everyone.
I play poker for almost 1 year, when I started playing the amount of my deposit was $ 10 and did not last even 2 hours, I was seizing, studying and today I am winning more than losing.
If I do the math at the end of the pencil I have made more than my deposit amount because I recorded some freeroll tournaments.
I'm being profitable on the 90st pokerstars sit go's, which has a blind raise of 15 minutes and is worth $ 0.25.
When I find that I am mastering this limpet I will start playing the $ 0.50 with 90 and 180 players.

The first few years I lost a lot more than I won. However, after reading a few books and learning from my mistakes and playing live I now make more than I spend. I have learned to leave the table if I have an unusually bad run of cards and to cool off after my bad beats.

i have never had to put money into my stars account. through freerolls i have been able to play cash games and MTT every day for a few years

Привет всем, я тут новенький, что необходимо делать для получения пороля на 100€ cardschat

Probably in the red for the whole time somewhere in the $ 100 but I am striving to get a plus.

I lost but I won, but my problem is not poker, in my view, my problem is the management bankrrol.

Me too, I get bored playing within my limits as the money 💰 is peanuts

I don't keep track but I'm sure I'm behind. I guess you gotta wonder who's winning. Good luck.

I have only played with real money casually for about a year. Realistically deposited I would guess about $300 tops. And I have won back about $100-150. So I have lost at most $200. I plan to keep better track of the data.

I think i loose more, then i win. Especially when i was trying to play high limits some years ago. I was playing poker really bad in that days, so for sure in total i loose more then i win.

Wow. Thats something you dont get asked a lot. In pretty sure i have lost a lot more than win. But who is counting right 🙂

I do it for the love and hate of the game
