Do You Remember the Players at Your Table?

Naturally, there are a few I recognize, since there are many tournaments where I run into them at the tables. I play against them based on experience.

veszmo, same here, if I’ve played against someone a few times, I already have a pretty good idea how they play.

for sure, a good memory about players helps me play against them later
steve01991, definitely, remembering how someone plays can give you a nice edge the next time you run into them.

I already recognize some of them—we play in the same tournaments—and I tag them

Some players stay in my mind because of one unusual move or pattern. Do you actually remember regular opponents and adjust your game when you meet them again?
I remember players. Some have a little note, but I don’t do notes that much, but they need to get on my nerves like at a 99% level🤣

I play how I play, I don’t change my game.

I try to take notes, color code, and sharkscope as many players as I can.

It makes it much easier going forward especially if you can use the data to game select.

Of course, that’s the basics... you should even tag them when the site allows it, so you can quickly spot the fish. And if you don't know who the fish at the table is, then you probably are the one 😅

I don't remember any of the players I play against, unless it's cash games and I see them more regularly. This is why I take notes and highlight their profile in specific colours. A lot of the time I see players with highlights or notes and wonder when I made them 🤣

There are some players that I play against frequently. I also play with a HUD display, and I can see how many hands I've played against them. But some players I remember by name or the picture.
I also take notes, but I barely remember specific situations, that's why I write down something relevant.

True, sometimes people can use that against you too, especially if they notice you’re adjusting to their usual play.
