How do I balance the impulse to bet (because the opponent has a wide range) with the need to check to protect sufficient showdown value?
 
Day19.Great video—this is a very complex topic! Playing from the small blind is always tricky, but this lesson really helped clarify the limping strategy and post-flop planning. Quiz: 1) Limping is a good option for defending with a hand like this. 2) We should bet; we have an open-ended straight draw and no showdown value. 3) The Ace on the turn is a great card for a bluff bet; we need to keep applying pressure to the opponent.
