If your opponents call to much, the strategy is to not try to bluff them, when you miss the flop completely, but instead bet thinner or larger for value, when you likely have the best hand.

Yes thats how most tournaments end, weather you are playing against good or bad opponents. The whole point of a tournament is to bust everyone except the final winner.

So you won't be able to play freerolls at 888 poker until you make a deposit, and there's also no way to withdraw your winnings, so a $10 deposit is required.

If you have never deposited on the site then mostly likely yes. And you might also need to verify your account, if this was not done already. In top of that some sites will only accept withdrawals to a method, that was already used to deposit.

Free rolls are fun and you can learn without losing money, but people play almost every hands, so is not like playing real money.

I think Saturday is a very interesting day for tournaments. The player pools are much larger, and there are many recreational players at the tables. My strategy for Saturdays is to play slightly tighter in the early stages because people tend to play too aggressively.

Not should, but must. You gain a lot of knowledge, experience, and excitement through freerolls. If you risked your own money first, you would lose that money in most cases.

I think both have their place. Freerolls are great for learning without pressure, but even a small real-money game teaches you how differently you play when the chips actually matter.
