A very interesting aspect. I have never really paid attention to this in terms of pot odds in my game. In the past, I have folded far too often because of this. Maybe I can further optimize and improve my game because of it. Thanks for the article.

Hello poker fans,

I have gained an appreciation for pot odds and expected value. In my game, I have a general feel for it and no longer labour to calculate the actual odds. Instead, I rely on the 4-2 rule with my outs to get a quick approximation. Once upon a time, I invested in a Drive HUD but no longer depend on it. One feature that I enjoyed was the analysis that revealed which aspect of your game needed improvement and the money won/lost based on the hole cards.

The math of poker is important but one must also consider the villain's tendencies. It is vital to get a read and take notes.

Another excellent lesson; when a pro explains it, it looks easy. But when there are multiple tables and a lot of action, there isn't always enough time to make the right decision. Pot odds offer another way to make more mathematically sound moves at the table. I’ll watch this a couple more times and try to apply it to my game. Great work. Thanks for the video.
