Tricking your opponents while running good is a skill that maximises pot winnings....don't bother trying if your running bad as you'll lose.. but that's luck for you.. it rules the game.

My favourite is to limp in with a weak ace and if your opponent/s just calls and a ace hits the flop, min bet quickly, if they get a piece of the flop that isn't the ace they will never believe you have a ace and will call or raise you. (and some usually call even if they miss because of the non believer in them)I did this last night when a king came with an ace, my opponent who had a weak king was a non believer when I quickly betted. When my bet was called I paused.. then over bet the turn.. it got called. I went all in super quickly on the river and opponent called..took all their healthy stack. This worked because I played exactly how someone inexperienced who pretends to have it but doesn't,timing is everything. If I had raised the weak ace pre flop as many donkies do, would I of extracted as much as all thier chips? Doubt it.

Weak aces is exactly one of the groups of hands one could expect somebody to limp with. It is not really a good exploit and it is very exploitable by itself. So be careful with that.

My favourite trick is to limp with aces or other big pair before a maniac (usually it is the most profitable line against them, because they often just fold when someone displays strength before they enter the pot) or just someone who likes acting aggressive against weaker play (in the later case praying that they didn't notice that I've never limped ever before and therefore does not suspect that I'm trapping with a strong pair). If we survive until showdown and my hand got revealed, I'll sometimes make weak plays with medium-strength hands for a bit, trying to capitalize on possible paranoia.

I am a righty. My favourite trick is to play with the mouse in my left hand...that throws everyone else at the online table off balance.

Reel them in, matching their bet, then go over the top with the killer hand...

So in summary, play like a fish and hope to find a bigger fish?

My biggest trick? I barely ever bluff. I wait. And when no one expects it, I hit hard.

Last night I limped with a trash ace. Flop comes ace-king. I snap-bet small like a scared fish. He had a weak king and didn’t believe me. Called. I overbet the turn. Called again. River? I jammed fast. He snapped. Stack gone.😀

so familiar and yet different

I love letting the donkey pull the cart up the hill rather then me pushing it. When we get to the top I re-raise all-in by then dumb donkey always thinks he's pot comminated(even thou the math strongly disagrees). Dumb donkey calls and is broke.

Btw playing A-rag like a soft losing fish is a long term losing play not actually a trick worth learning. More like a terrible habit worth breaking.

Cheers!!!

Depending on when you have a strong hand, you can make a small setup to trap viruses and use their power, which is your weak hand.
It's important to remember that success in poker depends not only on tricks, but also on the ability to analyze the situation, manage your bankroll and control your emotions

this only works in microstakes mtts. I also play as a nit, so this strategy works more towards my style and my strategy.

if I make it to the final table as a short stack, or the shortest stack, i become a super nit. depending on my opponents, I might end up folding every hand until I get to top 3.

basically, if I'm in last place, im making the same money if I bust out in 1 hand or in 30 hands, for example. however, in the same 30 hand, there is opportunity for other players to bust each other out, which allows me to move up the post ladder. in microstakes mtts, players aren't always paying attention to other stacks and focus too much on their hand. some players can't fold, even if it'll benefit them more, and will bust out as a big stack because of it.

I've finish in top 3 spots so many times by basically letting my opponents do the dirty work for me, even though i started as the shortest stack.

I really enjoy checking on the river when I know my hand is still strong but likely won’t be beaten.
Many players think I’ve given up and fire a big bet — and that’s when I pick them off. 😄
