In cash I folded KK once and was correct. I opened, got raised, and a very tight straight forward player raised out of one of the blinds. I folded and of course that blind player had AA and got it all in with the 3 better. I have folded QQ a few times in cash and was mostly correct.

Admittedly in tournaments it is so much harder to fold premiums like AK especially given the way the structure makes your stack more shallow. But... situations dictate. Player reads, effective stack depth, and ICM become important considerations.

No riding with it all the way if I lose that's just poker for ya aka is not the best hand always a pair of 22 will be you out of you dont get a ace or a king unless there's two high pair on the board it does happen on line all the time

Folding AK is quite common in tournaments. With AK you are at 50:50 preflop situation very often. Based on action before you and ICM, 50:50 just might be not enough and you fold.

I think your question should be more specific. What kind od situation is it.
You can fold AK pre flop. That's normal
I won't fold AK when you're short stack and you play push or fold

There are certainly circumstances that can lead you to fold AK preflop, especially near a money bubble or pay jump that might mean something to you.

If there is a raise, a three bet, and a four bet all in before you act, then your AK shrivels up pretty quickly. If you are sitting on 6-8 BB then certainly things are different, but it shouldn't just be a no-thought snap shove in a lot of situations.

yes, I have played with people that will only 4 bet shove with pocket aces or kings, not even pocket queens or AK, so yeah, easy fold against those type of players

I have like most people folded AK pre flop many times. A good starter hand yes I know but not worth it to me to match an all in for. Just my thought.

other than satellite bubble, I've folded AKo/s when there's an all-in multiway.

in very rare cases, I'd fold AKo/s unopened pot during stone bubble if i'm severely short at late position (1bb-2bb, when doubling won't make a difference) and other supershort-stackers are on/approaching blinds, because min-cashing at this point is the priority.

I don’t often like to fold Ak but may entertain the many opinions to do so since I have been on the wrong side of AK many times. Obv satellite bubble all in situations are definitely easy to lay down but big all ins , multiple player pots with several raises, or 4 bets or more lead me down the road to fold much more now that I have been unlucky too many or ran into better hands. There’s always another hand to play if you fold when in a huge decision. Not the case if you call and lose, which happens often unfortunately with AK.

probably not. I will never reset AK on preflop. Exactly like AA. And usually I'm luckier with AK than with AA. My pocket AA eventually move very often. At the same time, with AK, I most often have a winning combination

It depends on situation. In a freeroll, I don't think it's a good idea to go all-in pre-flop even with A-K. It's 50/50 win or lose.
