I'm capable of both, kinda depends on the personalities/social dynamics of the players at the table, and my mood of course.

I’m somewhere in the middle. I’ll chat a bit when I’m not in a hand, but once I’m playing I stay quiet. Talking can give away information, so I’d rather listen and let others reveal things. Feels like the best balance to me.

I love a chat at the table and im known for it - always respectful though and its called Cardschat after all!
Its great to be able to play my game and chat with friends in a friendly manner.

I chat when I meet friends or acquaintances at the tables. I will rarely start a conversation with players I don't know, except when I really have something to say :)

I always try to play in silence, I answer when someone asks something, but I don't keep raising issues, unless it's a game between friends!

I'm always chatting if I recognize a regular player from a different tournament/table, and if the software allows it. If not, I just use the emotes after/during a hand.

I don't mind chatting if there are friends at the table. But in most cases, I keep quiet, as poker is a way for me to make money and unnecessary conversation is simply unnecessary.

it's better to remain silent, you don't give out unnecessary information (by voice, facial expressions, breathing) and are fully focused on analysis.

In my animal life I always got to a regular table but after a couple of divisions I started to talk only better so I think that if it is stupid I communicate

Regarding the topic, it is very interesting and complex, but I am the type of person who tends to talk little in my poker games, whether online or live, I try to concentrate as much as possible, sometimes I joke around to de-stress, but most of the time I remain silent.
