You can use speech play to your advantage, Talking opponents into calls or folds when you want.

I think that talking during an online game is unnecessary. For me, I don't see the need to communicate with my opponents, although in general, if other players want to communicate, I don't mind.

I stay quiet but don't like it when they continue mumbbling or throwing stuff even when I clearly show no reaction to it. It's still cool, just not my thing.

It's impossible not to talk, otherwise it seems eternal, you can also get information from your opponent or discuss some hands to see how he thinks

I have only ever been to one live game, but it was at a bar not casino

I'm silent. Always. There are too many players who talk all the time. Some talk many bad words when they loose. So I don't take part in chats. Newer.

I only use chat to respond to questions or comments from my opponents. But I rarely initiate conversations myself. I prefer to play silently.

I prefer to stay quiet. I'm a medium player so I'd rather focus on the game. I play live and what I've noticed, the other players just want my money. So I prefer to focus on the game. Nobody is there to make friends.

I usually play 6 tables, so it would be pretty hard to manage chatting. However I try to follow is anyone says anything, just in case it gaves any info. Also, if the comment is addressed to me, I try to answet if I have time (if it is not just a silly insult)
