Exactly! 😂 I am all for a table with banter and jokes it makes the whole thing more fun but there is a clear line between table talk and being disrespectful and there are times where people are in a bad place and don't want to hear your jokes. I agree there are sometimes things happening at the table that are just as funny as whatever card you just drew. Considering most of people play for fun and enjoyment why not try too make sure they have some and they at least enjoy them shelves when they're at your table? Not all of us play just for the challenge and to make a bit of money on the side. I mean no goes to the casino or a poker game to be disrespected or deal with rude and complete jackasses. For live cash games absolutely yes. Most of the high stakes action is in invite-only games, and if you dont add some kind of value to these games, you will not get invited (back). Even if you are a regular in a public game in a casino, the player pool is usually not that large, so you depend on the same losing players to come back and play again. For tournaments its different, since they are almost always public. So there you just need to avoid behaving so poorly, that the casino ban you.hardongear said:
Turned out that his name is Reggie, and I could see that he was one of those people who is the life of the table and enjoyed talking as much as I do. Ed was another nice man who'd I'd talked with quite a bit during other tourneys and he ended up winning, followed by Reggie in 2nd, me in 3rd, and a young man in 4th. Ed is to my right and Reggie to my left and I don't think that I heard the young man's name. Poker people are the best and if we weren't talking we never would have really gotten to know each other. 
I prefer a relaxed table where people can chat and joke around, as long as it doesn’t distract from the game. A little conversation can make the session more enjoyable, but I still like everyone to stay focused when the action gets seriousNameless14 said:
