Ah! But our dilemma is that the fast dealer is annoying, and the friendly dealer is slow. So if you could only pick one (fast or friendly), which would it be?
That being the case, I prefer the fast-paced option; after all, the goal of the game is to make money.
Friendliness is optional, as long as the dealer does their job efficiently.

Fast and annoying. Especially if you're missing out, you tend to be in a hurry!

A mixture of both
Of course. But as I said above, our dilemma is that the fast dealer is annoying, and the friendly dealer is slow. So if you could only pick one (fast or friendly), which would it be?

Hi folks,

i would prefer a slow&friendly dealer because then i have more time to communicate and to study the other players ;-).
Of course a fast dealer is good for cash games when you want to play many hands but in a tournament it is always a lond endurance run, so patience
is often the key.

GL fellas

friendly for me too, a good dealer can make the whole table feel way more comfortable.

I'd prefer a slow but friendly dealer. I think a friendly and patient dealer makes the game more enjoyable, especially for new players. Speed is important, but I would rather have a comfortable and pleasant table.

Slow but friendly.

It has advantages and disadvantages. Off Corse

friendly and ready to have some fun and joke around , serious ones are a no no for me i always ignore them

Fast and annoying, I am playing my own game and dont get affected too much. I would rather have volume to grind 🙂

I think most players prefer a friendly dealer who knows how to smile when asked, impartial and who deals cards in a professional manner.

I agree. But our dilemma is that the fast dealer is annoying, and the friendly dealer is slow. So if you could only pick one (professional or friendly), which would it be?

Sunt de acord. Dar dilema noastră este că dealerul rapid este enervant, iar dealerul prietenos este lent. Deci, dacă ai putea alege doar unul (profesionist sau prietenos), care ar fi?
Definitely the friendly dealer! Thanks D!

a slow but friendly dealer 😀 If i go to casino to play casino games its gonna be for fun and not some proffesional stuff 😀

I have never played live, if I ever did, it would be for fun and not with the intention of making money, having said that, so I prefer a friendly dealer to have a good time playing something that I really like.

A fast but unfriendly dealer would put me on edge, and I would prefer to leave. My preference is friendly, even if they are a bit slow.

I'm surprised to see how many community members went for the 2nd option (slow but friendly), as we're on the number 1 online poker community and we should know that that in a live game the single biggest driver of our hourly win rate is the number of hands per hour... so I'll always go for the fast dealer - even if there are some personality issues etc... if it's getting annoying/affect your game, you can always put some headphones on and listen to some music or other stuff, time is such an important aspect and I've been in games where because of a slow dealer we've played like 15 hands/hour, while a fast one would have easily done double the amount... again, if the dealer doesn't do anything over the limit, I would love to always have skilled/fast ones 🙂

I realized we can always call out management if we have an annoying dealer. But I'd go for the slow and friendly dealer any day, twice on Sunday.

Annoying dealers have no place and no business sitting on any table! Glad we don't have both online. Hehehe.
