Why don't all rooms use crypto for gaming? This is the future.

Crypto does have advantages — fast transactions, lower fees, and more privacy.

But many poker rooms operate under strict regulations, and crypto laws are still unclear in many countries.
There are also concerns about volatility, security, and compliance with anti-money-laundering rules.

Because of that, many sites still prefer traditional payment methods.

Crypto may grow in poker, but regulation is the biggest hurdle right now.

It may be due to regulations or policies in some countries, but an increasing number of platforms and businesses have already started offering payment options using cryptocurrencies....

There are indeed poker sites that have started to favor cryptocurrency deposits and withdrawals, as it truly represents—as you pointed out—the revolution of the present and the future.

Crypto definitely has some advantages like faster deposits and withdrawals, but it's not that simple. A lot of poker rooms have to follow local gambling and financial regulations, and many countries still have strict rules around crypto. I think we'll see more rooms adopt it over time, but doubt it'll replace traditional payment methods completely anytime soon.

With regulations not only of the poker industrie but also in the crypto markets (EU regulates Crypto trading) the future of crypto
transactions and the most former pros of crypto currencies has vanished.

It´s just onther way of wasting electrical power.

Deposits from a credit/debit card or with Luxon Pay are instant on all the sites, where I play. From ACR Poker withdrawals to Luxon Pay takes a few hours at most. From PokerStars a bank transfer usually takes 1-2 banking days. So seems to me, that not much is gained there by using crypto currency.

Cryptocurrency is the best thing that could have happened to poker. Players have more cashout options, and the process takes just minutes. There are fewer verification hassles, which means less stress for players—factors that help boost online poker traffic. Take the WPT, for example: it is growing dynamically, with rising player numbers and tournament counts. In contrast, 888 is in a state of total decline in this regard; it used to be a top-tier room, but now it is hopelessly outdated and looks rather sad.

There's still a long way to go before that happens; there's still a lot of mistrust. Some Reddit users say they've lost thousands of dollars because they entered the wrong number. Sometimes the copy and paste doesn't work completely, causing lost deposits and withdrawals. Also, when you make a cryptocurrency deposit, a red message appears that's very scary: your money could be lost if the network or address is incorrect.

I think it's because it is the most accessible payment method in every country.
