Because online poker uses digital numbers instead of physical chips, do you find it easier to click 'Call' with your entire stack without feeling the same emotional weight you would feel at a casino?
I can relate to that. It's understandable that online there might be more nuts calls because of the lack of physical tells and the dynamics of the table, but I think a bad beat is a bad beat no matter where it happens. Someone hitting a 72o against your big bet is just as heartbreaking to see on a screen as it is at a physical table. 😂🃏Rene Thee said:Nope! For me, losing money feels exactly the same online as it does in a live game. Money is money, unfortunately. 😂
What does feel different is that losing in a live game somehow feels more fair. Online, I seem to get hit with way more bad beats, which can make it feel a lot more frustrating and unfair.
I’m not sure if that’s because online players are anonymous and therefore more willing to call with all sorts of questionable hands without any shame, whereas at a live table you’re actually sitting across from the person you’re making that call against...
In fact, it's safer to lose money online, because it's money that you put there knowing you could lose, you put the money at risk on your own, so you feel less when you lose and what makes many people calm is that they think you lost trying to win, in a way that comforts many lolNameless14 said:Como o poker online usa números digitais em vez de fichas físicas, você acha mais fácil clicar em "Pagar" com todas as suas fichas sem sentir o mesmo peso emocional que sentiria em um cassino?
