4 color deck is great, it cuts down on mistakes, makes mulit-tabling easier, and it speeds up the play.

I do not think it will catch on in live play, because of potential "peekers".

Before the live tournament I have to change my deck to a two-color deck for a while. I would definitely prefer a four-color live deck, even though I agree it looks a bit cheap, but it's a matter of getting used to it.

I actually tried it once and did not like the 4 color deck. I stick with the regular one.

I don't support changing the colors at all; but I often change the design of the cards and the table.
I'm trying to adjust the settings so that the atmosphere resembles that of a live game as closely as possible (within the limits of what's possible, of course).

Haven't read all the replies but I'm going to assume I'll be the weird and strange one. For online I like the 4 color deck makes really easy to see flushes quickly. Live nah get that junk 4 card deck outta here:ROFLMAO:. Live being a lot slower I don't worry about not seeing if possibly of the flush is out there.

Cheers!!!

The colors of the cards can matter for practical reasons:
They make it easier to distinguish the suits at a glance and help reduce mistakes.
Some players prefer four-color decks (where each suit has a different color) because they make it easier to spot flush draws and read the board more quickly.
Others prefer the traditional two-color deck because it's what they've always used and they're more familiar with it.
