idk if this is just me but i absolutely hate playing with those 4 color decks where clubs are green and diamonds are blue. i get why people use them online to not mess up flushes but in real life it just looks so cheap and wrong lol.
give me standard red and black any day. does anyone actually prefer the 4 color setups ?

I actually prefer the standard red and black too. The 4-color deck can be useful online, especially when multitabling, but it just doesn't feel right to me. Maybe it's because I learned with the classic deck, so that's what my brain is used to.

Thats true that online its very useful especially if you are multi tabling and doesnt want to miss a flash while quick making decisions

Because in live poker, if you see a red card, it could be either a diamond or a heart, but if you see a blue or green or any other card, you know the suit right away.I got used to a four-color deck after playing stud-eight, where it's easier to keep track of the suits of dead cards. It's really convenient, and I wouldn't go back to the old deck.

Anything that reduces cognitive load for a "serious" player is a plus, especially when it means more tables for longer with less errors.

For online play, the four-color deck is better.

I love the 4 colour deck, never seen them used live in a casino though, but I would prefer it, after a good few hours of playing live my eyes get tired, but I also don't really want to spend that amount of time with my reading glasses on either....

Hello, personally, I love to put the one with the four colors because it has helped me a lot when I play multiple tables and often I don't focus 100% on each one of them, it helps me more in decision-making

I only play with a four-color deck. It helps me avoid mistakes when I'm playing multiple tables at the same time. I made quite a few errors when I used the standard deck, so I switched to the four-color deck. It's much harder to misread the suits that way.

I have never seen 4 color deck live , does it really exist? You would think its easier to cheat that way since a player next to you could get a glass of the suite

I like to use the four color deck just because it avoid silly mistakes that anyone can do.
I think the tradicional way is prettier, If it is there, why don't use it?

I prefer the two-color deck. I think it's cleaner, looks better, and I'm already completely used to it.

For multi-table is way easier with 4color decks but live poker i also prefer the good and old classic 2 colored deck. At the end the most important is to keep playing regardless

For me, card colors don't really matter. What matters is reading the board, understanding ranges, and making the best decision possible. Still, I know some players find certain color themes easier on the eyes during long sessions.

I don't have the skills to run multiple tables, so I just leave them at the default red and black only.
