Have you ever folded a hand and regretted it immediately?

Sometimes I fold a decent hand because my opponent's betting doesn't make sense for a bluff. Then I keep thinking about it afterwards. Do you guys trust your read and move on, or does curiosity get the better of you?

This happens, it's part of the game, and that's why a good bet often leads you to a hand that you might lose later on.

I do not call to win money, I do that to solve mysteries. Sometimes it costs a bit too much though.

I've definitely folded hands and immediately wondered what would have happened if I'd called. 😂♠️ But I try not to judge a fold based on the cards that would have come.

I'm generally against rabbit hunting because it doesn't change the result, and seeing the winning hand can make you second-guess a perfectly good decision.
If you're trying to improve, reviewing the hand history and analyzing your decision is much more useful than seeing the remaining cards.

Make decisions based on the information available at the time, not the cards you wish you could see afterward. That's how you avoid being results-oriented.

No I'm not results oriented so don't care, if I folded a hand completely trash hand that would have flopped a full-house, 4-of kind or winning hand in the end. The number of times that happens is very very very few.......what mostly happens is you called with trash hand and you'll flop just enough to think you got the best of it and then end up all-in and busted out on your ass cause you were stupid and should have NEVER been in the hand. Someone posted such a hand here earlier this week 65os from the button with almost 50bb. He flopped a straight ended up all-in, losing to a better straight in the end and busted out.

Too me this a brutally terrible play(but to each their own) with 50bb. With 50bb left I'm not calling a raise from early position from the button with 65os with the blinds left to act and I could easily be squeezed out by a re-raise behind. To me this is just pissing away valuable chips when you got a shorter stack to start the hand with you can't be pissing away valuable chips like this. When I get down to 40-50bb left I'm looking for spots/hands to re-raise with and get it all-in on favorable flops. I'm rarely ever limping or calling here.

About the only time I'd be limping or calling raises in that spot would be ONLY IF I KNOW 110% I have a 3-betting maniac behind me and I have a hand I'm willing to get it all-in with against him.

Cheers!!!

Yes, definitely. Sometimes I float a hand with decent equity to the nuts only to fold when villain makes it too expensive to continue and then the board peels my nuts on the very next street while the other villains would have top pair or two pairs max. Sometimes, missing out makes me tilt even more than losing a hand
