How do you deal with extremely bad days in online poker?

Hey there,
first of all. Everyone, even the best players got these days frequently. The only difference is, they found a way to control their mind and they are able to win slightly more often in the long run.
Sadly they are often promoted and dont be honest by its game hard reality. To deal with bad days in poker, it's essential to recognize emotional tilt and take a break to reset. Other strategies include playing tighter, lowering the stakes, reviewing past sessions to identify mistakes, and studying the game away from the tables. Focusing on making the correct decisions rather than the short-term results is key to long-term success. And i highly recommend to stay patient and trust in your skills, even on bad days.

I simply stop playing that day, or for a week, I just try to study something and then I start again

There shouldn't be any "bad" days, lol.
There are just small controlled setbacks or plateaus where if you keep learning, grinding and control your risk and stay focused then eventually you will end up building your bankroll or at least your knowledge of whatever game youre playing.
If you have "bad" days then work on your mindset and just control your risk.
I know its easier said then done but that's it.
Then improve your knowledge and understand even hands like AA in holdem are going to lose a lot of the time then get rid of that "expectation" of winning then things start to improve.

The problem is created by the banal attempt to win anything. Concentration and sound decision-making take a back seat. The desire to gain an advantage and take every pot takes center stage.If you find yourself getting irritated every time your opponent fights back when you try to take down the pot, it's time to take a break.

Depends on how one defines "extremely bad days". Personally I simply don't have them because I play within my means, within my bankroll and within my skill level.
I would define "extremely bad day" as going completely broke. Nothing else meets the definition of "extremely bad day" when it comes to poker. And well I haven't gone busted in idk forever. Yes it's been that long that I don't even remember and I have a good memory.
Now a down day would be losing 3-5 buy-ins which is nothing when one has 50-100 buy-ins on the site, plus plenty of past winnings in the bank account just sitting there. So I just go on about my day happy as I was before I started down day or winning day doesn't matter to me.
The key is setting yourself up not to have "extremely bad days" so you don't have to worry about what you do when you have one because you don't have them. I'd suggest working hard on the following so you don't have "extremely bad days". Also these are the 5 keys to being a winning poker player...
1) Bankroll management
2) Patience
3) Mental toughness
4) Discipline
5) Game selection

I try to watch a movie, anime or listen to music, and to be honest this happens almost every day with poker players who are chasing consistency.

I try to stop before my session becomes disastrous. Anyway, I don't play that much money online, it will not bankrupt me. Otherwise, I try to take a break. Sometimes I play on a different site. Mery frequently, I loose more money chasing the losses.

The way I do it is either laughing about it or complaining on here 😂 As soon as I win a big hand I completely forget about bad beats I am very fickle in that regards. Everybody has their own way and you will find yours.

Just never expect great success, then your poker days won't be so bad.
