Definitely 6. Once poker started it was full ring and fixed limit. Now nobody wants to play 9 max or FL, they all transition to 6max. All the best players in
the world play 6 max or HU. Why?, waiting to hand is soooo boring, players want action, and 6 max will give them that, also A LOT more post flop decisions with marginal hands, witch will develop yo as a poker player.

9 players is the most comfortable table for me. As an option, there can also be 8 players. But definitely not six. I do not play in tournaments where there are less than 8 players at the table.

I like 6-max for cash games, Zoom etc. a lot. For tournaments, except the boring heads-up, all numers of players are fine.

I'm used to playing at tournaments. And tournaments usually have 8 or 9 players per table. But that doesn't mean I don't know how to play at the last table in tournaments.
