Let's also consider OP said he is going to do this on GG poker. GG Poker's CEO is on record as basically saying they plan to turn poker on GG into a casino/lottery as best they can. That's going to make OP quest even harder then it already is which is near impossible already.

It would have been a lot more likely back before poker Black Friday when winning was as easy as taking candy from a baby. Those days are long gone and never coming back. Now OP is going to have to become one of the very best players in the world to do this especially on a site that plans to turn poker into a casino game to the best of their ability.

There's also not a lot of smart people with common sense playing poker.

If you take it seriously and give it time, you can slowly make money in a consistent way by playing freerolls across different platforms. It’s not wrong to set an ambitious goal like that, but it’s much better to start with smaller, realistic steps. For example, focus first on going from $0 to $10, then from $10 to $50. Once you reach that point, you can start mixing in low buy-in tournaments along with freerolls. Good luck, just make sure to set achievable goals first.

Bold goal! I wish you all the best in the challenge. It will take all your time, but I don't see it being impossible. Sometimes it is possible to get tickets to pretty good tournaments from freerolls. See you at the final tables!

Its a cool story either way isn't it.....as you say, if he deposits $100, then the target is now $1,000,100.....he can still say he made $1mil......the extra $100 is irrelevant.

You def don't care how you started once you've made a million, as you're clearly at this point one of the top players, and no sooner have you broadcasted your achievment, you've likely surpassed it anyway, and are still winning!!
