In online games, the most famous are cash games and tournaments, which one does the community recommend that they are the most profitable or in other words which one do we get the most money from?

In most case players do not win money, they are loosing money.
Choose the one you enjoy the most.

Whatever game has the weakest players at a given time. Nobody wants a table full of sharks.

there is a very notable difference between cash and mtt and it is that if you don't know how to play in cash you end up losing everything while in tournaments even playing poorly you could win a prize if the variance is on your side, in my opinion more profitable but only when you learn to play

This is wierd comment. Make no sense at all
Same variance apply to cashgame. You never saw a guy sit at the table and leave with 6-7 buy-in in less then 15 min playing all the hands ?
At least those players can't leave the tournament and some peoples will get there chips at some point and most of those players will only get a few buy-in.
So its the opposite of what you just said because they can't leave :)
To be fair, both have fish to abuse and collect there money, if its not today, its gonna be another day and if its not by you, its gonna be by someone else

That can both be very profitable. Tournaments have higher variance than Cash games so while they have much higher payouts, it is more uneven. Cash games are more stable and you can consistently make profit (although you will have some downswings). One thing I will mention is that if you watched any of the wsop (or any other poker show), they always do a graphic on each players lifetime tournament winnings. Not only do they not do that for lifetime cash winnings (which would be impossible) but often the top players have millions of dollars playing tournaments. It would take a much longer time to accumulate these amounts even the in higher stakes of cash games.

Tournaments are better, because if you reach a final table you will win more money than in cash.

on long term , the tournaments are the way of making money , but if you want an easy score you can try the cash game , but I don't suggest that :)

Both games are probably equally as profitable but the difference is how you profit. If your a winning cash game player you will make money something like 2 out of every 3 times you play. The problem is say at 1/2$ table with a buy in of 300 a profit can be just $1.00 and up but your more than likely caped on how much you can win in one session. If you profit 200 BB would be a really good night. You can also lose multable buy ins as well. Now take the 300 and play a tournament. The WSOP Circuit event for this amount I recently play paid out $23,011 for 1st place. You will never grow your bankroll this fast playing cash but playing cash the variance is less that tournament play. That is if your a profitable player.

My advise would be this, Play what you like. Also remember, many profitable tournament players dont play as well in cash game and vica versa.

For most players, it's at the cash tables where the money is. But I'm talking about real decent players and when variance is not swinging bad. The two main reasons for that are that they can make money regularly playing cash games and that winning an MTT is never that easy even for the best in the world.

in cash game tables everything happens faster, as there is no blind time limit, only respect for the card, in tournaments, you know the value of the prize, but to reach the final table and be able to participate in the prizes, it requires much more patience, but the profitability will certainly be higher, I don't know anyone who plays cash games for UD$ 500,000, well, tournaments pay that with a low cost buy.

Both tournaments and cash games are profitable to play, in cash games you can constantly win steadily, but a little, I mean you can win every day but a little bit for 2-3 buy-ins, in tournaments you will win much less often, once a month, maybe even once every two months, but you will win a lot at one time from several hundred to several thousand buy-ins.
Then it depends on you what is more convenient and better for you to play.

In cash games, winnings are more stable. If you play for a long time, then you can even roughly tell the planned earnings for the next month. There is no such predictability in tournament poker. Even the most experienced player can sit for months without normal pots. And if you take into account that you have to pay entrance fees for each tournament, then they turn out to be in the red.

That is why, if you are counting on a small but constant income, then cash games are just for you. If you go for emotions and huge prizes, then play tournament poker.

I think that there is no difference and it all depends on your playing skills. See for yourself where you do better.

Cash game you have to put a higher amount of your bankroll at risk, while tournaments is a cheaper risk and when you play a big MTT your winnings can me more significant if you reach a top position.

IMO cash tables are terrible..
You have to be really tight with 40bb+ and everyone 3bets with top 10% hands, easy to run bad for 10k hands which depending how often you play, can be a few days/ even weeks. going on 2000+ BB downswings/ 20+ buy-ins. and that's with making good decisions. sometimes happens. I'd say its very easy to go on downswings like that in tournies too but atleast theyr'e a big reward when you hit, I mean once you out the cash table swing you can get to evens and start getting fk'd over again. and the main thing is the rake, I currently am on a 10k hand downswing and with the hands I have recorded, I have $1 profit and have paid $40 in rake, my 1st 10k hands I was +$40... and have been cleaned of all that profit, so I'd not advise cash tables.

Hello, it depends on each player and their style of play. Personally, I do better in cash games than in tournaments... I don't have so much patience to sit for 4 or 6 hours in a long tournament, but as I said, everyone adapts to what suits them best

Well the question is whether a player is able to win consistently at least in one variant of the game. It's a lot more rare thing than it might appear. Then if he manages to win in several variants of the game, the player have to compare where he wins more... It's easier said than done. One thing's sure is that you can lose money in cash games A LOT faster than in tournaments. So for your question I would answer tournaments.

i remember in the past playing cash and wasting an hour being card dead and finishing with almost the same chips i had at the beginning. in tournaments you can take a plan if you're card dead or have a low stack. i don't have patience to play cash.

In MTT's you normally must wait a long time for an big win but then you cash big directly. In cashgames you have to make your money step by step without big wins. Choose what you enjoy! 😀

I think that both poker modalities are very good and you can get great profits from them, I particularly like to play cash because I am very good at playing it, but others do very well playing tournaments.

I'm also stuck on this one.. one thing that makes me question it is in a tounry, I have to beat 100% of the players to win 30% of the money.

When you say profitable, I also think about avoiding losses, so I believe that tournaments are safer and with a greater chance of profit..
