I think it will depend on the player, what is his style of play and in which modadalidad adapts better, in my case I like 50% cash and 50% tournaments and I do well.

if you play tournaments well, they end up being more profitable you make more money with less effort and less risk of losing it all

In the tournaments, you have to go through a large field before you have good money, so because of the variance, you have to start a lot of tournaments to make a big profit.
In a cash game, you can choose the table where the fish are sitting and milk their money, so looking at the cash games can bring more profit, although at higher stakes there may be less fish.

I think Cash Game is more profitable, more hourly money possible and more stable too.
And try to clear bonuses / rake / challenges just with tourneys or sngs - good luck!
At least the players in mtt's are weaker than in cash games, but if you practice table / game selection and play well, then it`s still very profitable online.

Cash games are way more profitable and stable, tournaments can keep you struggling, you can lose many in a row with no big hits and then win one. Variance can be massive if you are running bad so cash games are more profitable in my opinion, you don't need that big bankroll as tournaments

The main difference between Cash and MTT is that the cash game is not about one big win, but about winning regularly. Certainly the swings are much smaller than on MTT.

It's a tough question but I believe both a profitable in their own way, if managed well, but, in fact the cash games are harder keep a good management through a very long run.

I think it is more stable to play cash game, since in tournaments the payments can be high but you have to think about how many times you are going to play to win first place

I love tournaments but have had a more stable profit in cash games even though I didn't feel comfortable there at all. On the other hand, I have made the biggest profits in tournaments. So I think it's hard to say which of the two is more profitable. At the end of the day, you can lose your entire bankroll much faster in cash games if you're not in control.

in my opinion this question is not about the kind of the game. It is about the player and player's preferences. I like MTT more.

In cash games, there is less variance. There is no such predictability in tournament poker. Even the most experienced player can sit for months without normal pots. And if you take into account that you have to pay entrance fees for each tournament, then they turn out to be in the red.

For me tournaments are safer.
At the tables the butcher shop is big, you can stay out at anything, but the tournaments are controllable

I find cash virtually impossible to make money in, too long without building a stack, concentration then wanes.

I think generally the theory is you can win big with less risk with a small buy in for tournaments, but personally I like cash games and do well in those!

The variance is lower in tournaments, so it's a more stable way to be profitable.

You must decide for yourself where you are better off and how much you expect. But in any case, you need experience, knowledge and other qualities of a good poker player

It depends what kind of player you are. You have to know how tournaments are played or how to act at the cash table. Find out for yourself!
