Without playing many tables, it is difficult to beat the variance, the quality decreases, but it is impossible otherwise. It is necessary to balance. Such Rush and cash as you play 3 windows is enough, but MTT seems to me that 9 is such a minimum, but I will also be happy to hear what others think.

I would not recommend multabling unless you are a very experienced player. For 99% of players you will play worse in the long run.

Yes, here I agree, I meant more of a player already intermediate, a beginner must learn the dynamics, recognize the phases of the tournament, if it is MTT

I don't think my quality dramatically decreases playing 3 tables, but I do have to be more on full focus mode, sometimes its beneficial to play more tables so you don't get bored and make mistakes that way

I think that for most recreational and low-to-medium level players, playing a lot of tables at the same time is a little overrated. It is true that it increases the volume of hands and can help generate more profits per hour if you already have a solid strategy, but it also reduces the time to think through each decision and detect mistakes made by rivals.

Personally, I prefer to play fewer tables and pay more attention to the dynamics of the game. I feel like I'm learning more, making better decisions and enjoying the game more. Multitabling makes sense when you've mastered your strategy well, but for those who are still developing their game, sometimes less is more.

Not at all in my opinion(you need to for the volume alone) with that said I think the avg micro/low stakes rec/hobby player shouldn't play any more then 2 tables at a time. Newer players should stick to 1 table at first but try adding another table soon as they think it's possible. That would be when they start to feel comfortable and getting a bit bored playing 1 table.

Cheers!!!

Multitabling increases volume but can hurt decision quality and learning. Most players should play only as many tables as they can handle while maintaining their best game.

Even recreational players tend to get bored, if they only play one table online, and then they make bigger mistakes, than they would, if they were multitabling. So no. Its definitely not best for the majority of people to only play one table online. But of course you need to find a reasonable balance. Just because one table is to little, does not mean, that 12 tables are ideal.

It also depends on, which games you play. With fast action formats like Zoom or 3-handed Spin n Gos, one table gives a lot of action already and might be enough. But a single 8-9 handed regular table can become pretty boring very quickly. Maybe the table play 60 hands per hour. Which mean, that if you have a solid VPIP of 20%, you will only do anything other than folding preflop every 5 minutes on average.

You need to put on volume to be able to beat the variance

For most players, yes. Playing fewer tables helps you focus, make better decisions, and learn faster. Multitabling is great only if you can keep your win rate while adding more volume.

Depends with a person but limit to at least 4 table's unless you have a huge display otherwise it's very easy to make wrong decisions

I like multitabling, but only for 2-3 tables. More than that my play becomes too random and based on luck, which leads innevitably to loss

If you play just for fun, you don't need to play several, one is already enough, for those seeking money, you should play 4 to 5 tables at a time, that's the only way to beat variance.

It's just a matter of finding the right number of tables you can handle playing at once; for me, the ideal is eight, though I play quite a few more than that.

Its all about maximizing your hourly win rate.

That means different things to different players, but most winning players can play more than one table without lowering their hourly.

Very difficult to do efficiently. Too much information to process. One gets rushed too. It is extremely exhausting also which is not good for good decision making.

For most players, I'd say yes. I'd rather play fewer tables and make better decisions than autopilot through a bunch of them. Unless you're already crushing your current games, adding more tables usually leads to more mistakes than extra profit.

You can't learn properly that way. Almost impossible to read your opponents . There's no time for reflection or analysis of the previous hands. You can only play the cards you're dealt, like any other dumb bot.

But...

I personally like weak and unaware opponents, and if that's your way then so be it.
I also get it that people trying to earn a living at it tend to be grinders , and I suppose you can get a style that works to make a marginal return that way.

There are a few ways to look at this

Pros of multi tabling. You get to play more and if a winning player win more faster. You variances smooths out faster than it would if you only play one game at a time.

Pros of single tabling. The pros here are con of multi tabling. You will most likly win less money this way but your ROI over time will be much higher. You have the opportunity to play better than multi tabling as you get to play the players more than the simply way with more table picking up tell you would not see if playing 6 at a time. If your looking to improve you game this is best for you.

I have played as many as 10 at a time. I also don't recommend it and don't play that way now and what I have seen in my play is vast improvement. I will play 2 at a time and start a 3rd if if overlaps a late game but that's all now,

Most formats need a lot of tables in order to beat the variance .
So this multi tabling is a MUST somehow

I would say yes but If you know what you're doing and are capable of multi-tasking it has its benefits.

It depends on your skill level. If adding more tables lowers your decision quality, you're probably giving up more EV than you're gaining through volume.
