I'm not that experience but I do a lot of multi-tabling. I play only cash and in my situation I can say that 3 is the most tables in which can play my A-game without lose information and having control.

Absolutely it is overrated for mostly table if you are a a certain type of player. Professionals do it because it gives them a chance to win more money at the long term and they are also good enough that the lowering of their ROI is not their biggest concern with the opportunity cost to win as much as they can when they play. For most people anything other than one or two tables if you really want to play an extra game is all I would recommend to many players. Yes it may take longer to flatten out your downturns yes you lose opportunity cost to win more tournaments but overall if you're her own eye is say plus 10 playing mostly tables might bring you to a negative number after the rake. And if you're a losing player or a slightly losing player why would you want to lose a little bit more it's really up to every player to make the choice but I wouldn't recommend it to a lot of players.

Eu não recomendaria o uso de multiplicadores a menos que você seja um jogador muito experiente. Para 99% dos jogadores, o desempenho será pior a longo prazo.
The maximum number of screens on which I can play well is four.

If you are playing MTTs it's pretty easy to play 4 or 5 events at once , 'cause you'll be patient and folding quite a bit . 4 or 5 one table SNGs is a lot harder because you really have to read your opponents and you will quickly be shorthanded where every move may be critical . Head Up SNGs are even more difficult if you try to multitable .

Well, in my case, I play an average of 8 MTT tables; that way, I significantly reduce variance.

Yes, not all players can concentrate in every table while multitabling, me for exemple.
