What incentive does poker sites have to make some players win at the expense of others? Like for instance this guy, who is a low stakes grinder, and has won close to $0,5 mio. over the past 15 years. Most of which he has surely withdrawn and spend.

duh... they want to make the fake accounts win. And they want to let the fish who make the biggest deposits win once in awhile... but not often enough that it'd keep them from making those big deposits.

I believe they use simple algorithms that not only guarantee you will lose, but also make it difficult to notice.A few simple algorithms are enough to make it difficult to detect any anomalies used to detect cheating. So if someone was consistently losing with AA, the game would simply let them win a few hands with AA, but in a way that they would lose the bigger pots and win the smaller ones.

Why am I winning on cash tables then? Honestly I'm not very good at this game (well I guess that's all relative... I'm good compared to lots of players who think they're good but vs. the ones who know they're not that good... I'm not very good vs. them)
Would I be winning more if they weren't fking with me?

I used to think the same thing until I took the time to actually learn how to play poker. Some of the things I used to think were rigged like River suck outs I looked for on live poker TV such as poker after dark and others and noticed that the same exact things were happening in almost the exact same hands. So apparently what appears to be rigged is really just fate. There are some great poker training videos on YouTube so go watch some and you'll learn how to fold garbage and stay away from trouble to begin with when it's necessary. Good luck!

Short stack shoves, big stack calls...i shove qq with about 1/3 of big stacks chips...

He snaps...with 35suited

And flops a straight

Not sure if online is rigged...but this type of thing happens so often it cant be coincidence.
He had you covered 2x guessing he was on a run of luck, was it a bounty? Were people getting annoyed? Early or late? Did you happen to see where he finished? Why are you going all in with QQ pre unless you low stacked it looks weak or race AK. I saw a hand the other day AK button smashed all in 44bb early to the BB who thought then called with 77 flop was AK4 now if the AK had pot bet pre then bet the flop do you think 77 would have stayed in to hit the 7 on the river or do you think he could have been persuaded to fold seeing those over cards? (Oh the AK was suited hearts and 2 hearts came also). In my opinion he played that horrifically and had no need to put his whole tournament on AK when the pot was 3BB even if the BB didn’t get scared by the overcards it didn’t need to get that big. Tournaments are marathons not sprints, I stick around average and rarely put my whole game on 1 hand. I find a short stack easier to play tbh. But I guarantee you the player above with AK was mad as hell the fish called him with 77 and sucked out but a) 77 v AK isn’t that bad a call and b) his play looked a weak attempt to blind steal.

You have to think about all this stuff - what do people think of you? What will your action provoke based on what they’ve seen?! But more than anything don’t risk your game when you don’t need to with no information on what you getting in to.

I know your frustration, I think that every poker player could have the same filing almost once. So. You'll have a hard work to prove your thoughts. If so. A lot of of players will thank you for.
In this video, many things are true. For example, the case with ACR — the CEO is just mocking the players. The other cases, like Ultimate Bet, are true as well. That was a huge robbery. But it seems like nobody cares. There are still many players on ACR.
Regarding the randomness of the deck, PokerStars, 888, and GG are supposedly regulated by third-party agencies.

I think that a little yes, there are hands that in theory would be impossible for me to lose at a real table (1%), but I lose, I think the game does it so that new players don't get bored or reach the tilt, how many times have I lost with AA against a hand off, but anyway, I think that sets us up for future disappointments

What hands 'in theory' would be impossible for you to lose at real table (1%) but you're able to lose with them while playing online (< I'm assuming this is what you mean?). I don't even know of a hand that ever has 1% equity. I mean even needing a 1 outter on the flop is still 4% to win and out of 25 hands it will win 1 of them in the long run. And even getting in a situation where you're only drawing to 1 out is very rare!

I exaggerated, sorry hahahahahaha, but I think you understood what I meant, I was referring to a hand where a player went all in on the preflop with 9Q out and I with AA clearly paid, anyway, they put a ladder in the river and lost, it's one of the last hands I lost that way (on the flop I connected A's trinca)

At GG poker I see last week 6 Times a 4of-a- kind and I was playing Holden Cash Tables.

I don't know if it has to do with their badbeat jackpot and the acknowledgement that u can collect during games...but it smells that such features let drop such monster hands more often.

The big depositers you mention that would be worth risking their business for are NOT playing $1 games. If you continue to watch the player that called lose rarely wins the game or even cashes. $1 players play cannot be compared to live play ever. Please think about what you are saying. The op is playing micro stake games and complaining about idiot calls. Yet he’s been told to go on twitch and watch the high stakes live stream games to point out the rigging where it would actually profit the sites hence be worth risking their multimillion $ business for all of 24 hours until one of the poker pundits that breathes online poker noticed these fake players popping up and winning with bad beats. Like they’ve noticed all the collusion, bots and stables etc.

There are people who play all day every day same games that recognise a lot of the other players that use the HUD Tools and sharkscope info that would be on unknown new players suddenly winning tournaments with nothing but bad beats. Here’s an idea, Stop risking your whole tournament on one hand no matter what it is. Or understand that $1 games mean nothing to some people who are crap but buzz off the race. I’m sorry but sites have no reason to rig micro games. You aren’t the big depositors, And people who deposit .£5 and win are more likely to withdraw more than those big depositors.

Anyway I’m 98% sure the op is a troll being as he just made a new thread where his proof to this rigging is in the 100 $1 spin and go games he’s just played. Come on now it has to be a joke.

Of course, everyone has the right to think what they want, but only the court can judge.

Online can feel higher variance for sure, and the gamification of it all makes it feel unreal sometimes.

Yes I know you were exaggerating.
But... with the Q9 > AA it's going to win some of the time. If it didn't, then I'd think it was rigged!

Seems like you've been knocked out of tournament at river. I've stopped throwing all-in with paid and AK, AQ, AK and noticed my bad beats are less

All I want to say is that I have often encountered incredible situations in live poker, just like it happens in online poker, many times I can't believe it could happen but "never say never."

I totally agree with you)) if anyone thinks that online poker is cheating and somehow rigging the cards and the dealer has a fifth ace up his sleeve, then I advise you to go and play offline...
PS. and also watch the broadcasts from big tournaments, and you will see a lot of interesting things too))

Few sites manipulate games, those low-trust sites are manipulated but the big reputable sites have an honest

not sure if it's rigged or just a strategy issue
