It's more convenient to play from a PC; you can open more tables, connect to different rooms simultaneously аnd use Shark to check your opponents. Mobile Apps didn't exist before, but now they give you mobility if you need to finish a game but have urgent matters to attend to.

I can say unequivocally that you won't be able to grow in poker by playing only on mobile. But for freerolls, a mod is fine.

Playing on a computer is better in my opinion, the structure is better and you can play many tables at once

I like playing on my phone; you have the freedom to move around. I can play 3-4 tables at the same time, and I find it more efficient to play that way. Besides, I've never liked computers.

I've been playing with a pad this week. It has been really nice, but I think it works nicely only when playing one table. It's a lot nicer than playing a phone, so I prefer it when I am staying at home.

I understand it is possible to play on mobile - I do it sometimes in emergency situations, like tournament starting and I am not at home yet or watching a movie. But on regular basis I cannot see the reason to play on mobile. I usually play around 6 tables - I just need PC for that.

i am playing only on PC, it is much better. I can switch between screens, run other apps too, use spredsheets or anything, PLUS i am at home relaxed quiet, so ideal for poker.
I think mobile play on a rush i traffic or whatever is rubbish

Great question villa1306. I grind mostly mobile but tried both, so here's my take:

PC Pros:
- Multi-tabling 4+ tables is way easier with a mouse
- HUDs and tracking software only work on PC
- Bigger screen = fewer misclicks in crucial spots

PC Cons:
- You're tied to a desk. Can't play from bed/couch
- Setup takes time. Mobile you open App and play in 10 sec

Mobile Pros:
- Freerolls and quick sessions are perfect. I play them while commuting
- Touch controls are actually faster for 1-2 tables
- You can play anywhere, which helps volume if you have a day job

Mobile Cons:
- No HUD = flying blind vs regs
- 3+ tables is torture. Screen too small, easy to time out
- Battery dies in 2 hours if you're deep in an MTT lol

Verdict: If you're serious and multi-tabling, PC wins. If you're grinding freerolls or playing 1 table for fun, mobile is king. I do 80% mobile because of work, but switch to PC for Sunday majors.

What's your setup?

I think it's better on a PC or laptop because you can open multiple screens at the same time, whereas on a mobile phone you can only open one at a time.

I play mobile only when I travel. PC is larger and is easier to use the mouse.

It depends on your objective. If flexibility is the priority, it’s hard to compete with mobile. But for something more in-depth, it’s hard to beat analyzing information on a PC, especially with multi-tabling.

I like it better on the pc for comfort reasons especially. Bending your neck all the time with your phone is a real source of discomfort for me.

I only play on PC, usually on multiple tables. If the room allows it, I also run PT4 to help my game.
So for me, only PC wins.

I’ll always recommend playing on PC, since you can have a much better setup and play more comfortably. It’s also easier to do other things while you play. But if you don’t have another option and can only play on your phone, then play on mobile. Still, PC is almost always better.
