Poker Arena - Ideal App for Poker Junkies!

I've been playing Poker Arena on my iphone for the last few days. It's really kind of cool. Each game only takes 2 - 3 minutes, heads up against real people. It's a competition with prizes including free subscriptions to GTO Wizard. Ideal for poker junkies on the go, which maybe describes more than a few of us here at Cardschat.

It already has improved my HU game. But the real point is that it's a fun thing to do when you have a few minutes. Only takes 5 - 10 seconds to get matched up with an opponent, and 2 -3 minutes to play each game.

On demand, free, poker with real opponents. Doesn't require a log-in every time you play, which is really nice. The poker rooms all time out after a certain period of time (other than Replay which I believe stays open).

I wasn't that into it last season, but with the beginning of the new season (on August 1) I've been playing more. I like that you get some free GTO coaching after the game. It takes some getting used to the interface. Here's a game I just played with QQ (very rare for me).

Wouldn't it be better to use the play money feature on GG Poker, for example? You start with 10k points and gradually increase your balance, playing with real people and getting used to the platform all at once.

Hi, that's great! I hadn't heard of Poker Arena, getting GTO Wizard subscriptions seemed interesting! Thanks for the suggestion Flyer35!
It's a shame there's no Android download yet, but I'll play on PC and share some feedback!

It seems better than a lot of play-money training on standard poker sites.
