If I want to sleep, I sleep. If I want to play, I play. If poker is making you money, then you should sleep before you play. If poker is just for fun, then maybe you should choose sleep after all.

A few months ago I had a pretty long poker break, I played poker almost every day for 6-10 hours and only had 1 day off a week, but now I don't have any stable schedule, I could play cash games 1-3 hours a day, but I want to go back to MTT, and the best tournaments are mostly in the evening - at night, and I fall asleep during the game for the second day in a row, who fights it?
ran into the same problem so hard to play when you are in a diffrent time zone

Play fewer tournaments and shorter ones, like hyper-turbos, and you'll do well.

If you're going to play at times that make it difficult for you to play the later stages of tournaments, you should adjust your schedule and help yourself out. What's the point of making a deep run if you're just going to fall asleep later?

Happened to me a few times as well... We know a tournament can last for several hours, so if you know you’re likely to get really sleepy around a certain time, it’s better to avoid playing then, or plan ahead so you’re able to stay awake and focused during that period. (if possible)

If you’re falling asleep during MTTs, don’t rely only on caffeine. Try to adjust your sleep schedule gradually, take a 20–30 minute nap before evening sessions, eat lightly, take regular breaks, and avoid playing when you’re already exhausted. A consistent sleep schedule is more important than forcing yourself to play long sessions.

Its very bad idea :
  • Zero Focus: Poker requires intense observation of opponents, betting patterns, and position.
  • Bad Decisions: Fatigue impairs your risk assessment, leading to tilted or impulsive plays.
