I've been playing gg poker for about a year now. I even paid a deposit shortly after my registration, it was incredible, I was second in my first $2 tournament right away, or the jackpot came out after a couple of games on allinor fold. Cash Gamen came to the big box office. It lasted about two weeks, since then it has been a continuous failure always in any game. For example, I don't dare to go in against players with zero kilometers anymore because I know so much that the algorithm supports them. And it is also interesting that in the final stages I lose in pots without exception, no matter what.

I can understand why you feel that way, especially after having such a good start and then going through a long period of losing. I’ve had situations where it feels like the same thing keeps happening over and over, and it can be really frustrating. I try to remind myself that sometimes it’s just variance, even though it’s hard to believe when the bad beats keep coming.

Now that you know what you have gotten into, you can decide to keep playing or walk away. Poker provides relaxation for me, so as long as the pros outweigh the cons, I will keep playing. Online, I do not have to hear clanging chips. Also, I gamble on the house's money, so no financial loss for me to worry about.

Sounds like poker. 1st lesson should be to understand variance here is a HUGE factor. Variance in tournaments is even bigger than in cash games, because there it is enough to be lucky for a relatively short period of time to win. Play some reasonable amount of cash games - register your results - after 100 or 200K of hands you still be influenced by variance (of course!) but at least you will have a chance to realize luck/unluck or "suspicious" algorithm has nothing to do with your long term results - your long term score will depend on the quality of your play, no matter inevitable bad beats /lucky strikes from time to time.

Yes I find it incredible that they let you win so often at first. I wonder how much above ev you ran.

Unless there is something... 'suspicious' going on and for some reason they have targeted him to keep him from winning the pots he deserves. Maybe he's really good and they don't want other players to become frustrated

The hierarchy of hypotheses would be approximately:
1. Variance + memory/selection bias → extremely likely.
2. Differences in the player pool/player styles and tournament dynamics → very likely.
3. Bots/RTA/multi-accounting/collusion in certain segments → a real and documented possibility.
4. Software errors or specific software-related issues → possible.
5. An algorithm that identifies individual players and deliberately modifies the card distribution to make them win/lose → an extraordinary claim that would currently require extraordinary evidence.

Its definitely a myth, that sites always let players start with a sunrun "to get them hooked". On 888 Poker I was essentially break-even after 600 tournaments, which even included a decent amount of freerolls, but then my results began to take off. And on mentioned GG Poker, where I only started playing 2 month ago, I am down $300 so far, which is at least 30BIs for the tournaments, I have played there, although most of those were Battle Royal.

I can see why you would think that considering how big of a shift it was after all that time and how it seems to happen right at the end of each session repeatedly, but i would be careful about accusations of algorithmic rigging unless you have a good large sample of hands to prove it. Poker is a game where variance hits extremely hard and our brains are wired to remember the painful lessons much better than the happy ones.
You might want to keep track of your hands, ev and results separately for some time and see for yourself if it really is as bad as you feel. Once you start getting value on the hands you know are +ev, the misery will turn into a thing of the past. ♠️

Oh, I was sure GG doesn't care who wins and who loses, they get their rake anyway, but perhaps in this case they really do care about weak players and protect them

Still not rigged. Review your hands, study more, and see if it changes.

If that's what you think, then don't play anymore. When you were winning, wasn't it the algorithm then, too?

This is what Ev looks like, CashGamen is also similar.

I understand that you feel that way, but you're progressing exponentially. It's worth remembering that the path to success is slow, but with discipline, you can go far!

Így néz ki az EV-m.1787407889873

This unfortunately happened within a tournament, usually within 20-30 hands after I rebounded. 1787408515960

It sounds like you have the mindset that you're entitled to a guaranteed pot when you have AA, you need to let this go. These hands you're using to try and prove that the room is rigged happen all day, every day, in every cash game and tournament, in every online room and live poker room all over the world.

We all have a bias toward remembering only the hands we lost, this is called negativity bias and you have to be aware of it before you can do anything to overcome it. "But I always lose without exception" no you don't, you just don't remember the times you won as strongly as the times you lost.

Whatever you're trying to prove here, it's not going to happen. If you don't like how the site deals cards, don't put your money on it.

When I first signed up I placed 2nd in my very first tournament played... a $1 mtt called 'The Ferguson' on Fulltilt. (I won ~$100, it had ~1,000 entrants).

Since then it's been down... down... Up.. Up... down.... down.. wayyyyy down.... bit up... even.... even... down... even. DOWN!!!!!!!!!!!

Look here, today I think things are turning around for me...
this poor guy must be on his first year... he can't even win after being a 99.9% favorite on the flop. WTF? And somehow I managed to 'not lose' after I was 1,000 to 1 against winning anything in this one.

I understand the frustration, especially after such a great start.
But I’d be careful blaming the algorithm, poker has huge variance, and bad runs can feel suspicious.
I’d track your hands and focus on decision quality rather than the results.
That’s the best way to separate bad luck from actual leaks.

Do you play $10 battles in each match?
