Was kind of surprised to see that in their cashier section the other day as crypto was always available in the past as an option to withdraw, even if you didnt deposit with it before.

Withdrawal to crypto actually never worked for me...
Last time tried to withdraw 700$ to my wallet, waited for a week and it bounced back into my GG account....

What was their reasoning? Pretty unfair to do that to such a loyal customer.

This is something that usually happens at all bookmakers and poker sites. First, you must make a deposit using the method you will use to withdraw funds. Some justify this to avoid taking advantage of exchange rate fluctuations. For example, if you have a balance in AstroPay and you don't know how to transfer it to Skrill (two different wallets), they implement this requirement to prevent you from using them as an exchange and, in addition, they require you to bet your money at least once.

That's right, to withdraw cryptocurrencies now at ggpoker you have to deposit using the same method.

They weren't willing to pay the fees and their system doesnt allow to deduct it from the withdrawal.
Apparently I didnt do my research and used a crappy Wallet for poker where basic features are behind a paywall.

I don't know exactly how it works but GG claimed they would have needed to pay 49$ for the transaction to my wallet

But thats something they could think of in advance, before offering that method, no? Maybe had something to do with the specific wallet u were trying to use?

Which wallet do I use? I use Bitso, but the only withdrawal method I have at GG Poker is AstroPay.

It probably was the wallet yes. Sure . GG has their own fees but they can't tell you what your wallet company charges you for a transaction.
Usually you can choose between 'slow, medium and fast transaction... since the transaction to GG must happen within 15 min , only the fastest option is possible which charges insane fees from over 12%

Strange, when i cashed out the last time with crypto in usdt (which was already some time ago), there were no options on how fast or slow and apart from that silly dollar they so urgently need there were no fees.

I was talking about fees from the wallet when you deposit. Yes I also only had to pay their 1$ fee when I withdrew but the crypto withdrawal never worked. Support couldn't help me either.

Skrill works just fine. was just thinking it would be nice to have some winnings in BTC in an allegedly convenient way

Ah ok sorry i misunderstood that. Yes i have skrill too but im getting my money off as the fees there for foreign currency exchanges and bank transfers are absolutely insane if u are on the lowest vip level.
