First time I have built an amount to withdraw 🙂! It has been 12 days since the request has been approved, I called to see if it has been sent. They said we are waiting on a courier, and when they find one I would be able to track it. That call was 4 days ago still no message with tracking number. Anyone gone through the tracking part?

Update? I play on bodog, the Canadian version of ignition. I just get my withdrawals directly into my bank account, it takes about a week once it's set up

Still surprised that 5 years after black friday, people are still requesting checks when bitcoin is available.

Get bitcoin setup. It's super super easy and you'll have your money within 24 hours. Why go through all of this hassle? It's so much more sketchy for the poker site to issue checks. I'm baffled why people don't understand this.

never had an issue like that. always sent by courier promptly.

I think the time frame is about 21 days now. What was the time frame they gave you?

And time frame on bitcoin ~ 12 hours.

I requested a check over a month ago, received the check in a couple weeks and deposited it into my bank, pointing out to the teller that it was a Canadian check (I am in the US).

The teller said it was no problem.

A week later, the funds were pulled from my bank account (on a Friday afternoon and they closed until Monday). I sent an e-mail to Ignition, and got a phone call in a few hours. The representative assured me the check was good, etc, and that likely the issue was with my financial institution, to let them know the reasoning after I'd had a chance to speak with my bank, but that Ignition would re-issue a bitcoin withdrawal and personally walk me through the process of converting that to US dollars.

The following Monday, a letter arrived from my bank: they cannot process a foreign check. I e-mailed Ignition, they asked for pictures of the check and the letter, which I then sent. Their auto-response was:

"We've forwarded your attachment to our Withdrawals Team for further review. This process takes approximately 24-48 hours to be completed and updates will be sent to your account messages and registered email address.

Additionally, give us a call at 1-855-370-0600 so we can assist you with using the Bitcoin withdrawal method."

That was 4 days ago, so today I e-mailed them again. They got right back to me, saying they had issued a stop payment on the check two days ago, that it would take 10-15 days to process that, and that there would be a $40 fee incurred.

I advised that if they were now going to take another 2 weeks AND charge me $40 AND I still wouldn't have access to any of the funds not to bother, that I could mail the check to a friend in Canada and have him cash the check and mail me the money quicker and cheaper than their process.

Either way, I'm done with Ignition, and can only recommend likewise.

Took about 3 weeks, and I would recommend getting wells fargo, they verified funds in 1 day.

Some credit unions in the US will stall you all they can when you deposit a foreign check . Its a bogus maneuver, because all the banks can verify a check electronically in minutes , even one issued in Canada . I asked a teller about it . The bigger banks ( Chase, Wells Fargo , etc ) get your funds to you in a day or two .

My banks takes about 4 days. and charges about 10 to process before I switched to bitcoin.
