See the Ultimate Bet scandal. And that was an insider doing it. It's possible but very rare. A site wouldn't actively do it because it would destroy their business. But there are users who try I'm sure and it's in a site's best interest to try and minimize that risk because again if a site can't be trusted it's business will die.

of course they are still cheating. That is just 1 person that was caught. So everyone and every company is full of angels accept that one company? Joey Ingram already exposed long list of cheaters on you tube. And thats just the ones he found. Do not play cash games online. Even tournaments is rigged but at least you wont lose your ass playing it against some bot ring, super user or collusion ring. I am noticing it now I will sit a table and not even just acr but all the sites and they all come after me. constnatly 3b, going 3-5 way when I try to iso and it makes no sense because I play a very nitty range. These regs should be folding and respecting my raises. I get off the table and just watch and they soft play each other. I sit back down 3b, 4b going 3 and 4 way. All of sudden they loosen back up. Its all bull now online. You could get a fair game a year or 2 ago but its done now. Its full of cheating now. Its to bad but its time to go back to the casino.

They caught several bot rings on poker stars not by security but by the players then security after doing a lot of researching removed some of them. And they were making millions of dollars in tourneys, sngs, cash games. They will come back and keep doing it. Its not like these cheaters are going to go away. They can just use a vpn and do it all over again and make millions before they are caught.

Nothing is impossible. For sure, in my humble opinion.. someone from pokerstars or any provider that you are playing could see all the cards from all players. Every movethat you are making, they are looking for. I believe that lag exists. Because all video-games or computer games or any game playing online is gonna have some lag problem. I believe because I used to play Pro evolution soccer a lot on my PS3.(saving money for the 4) here in Brazil its expensive...

Bad beats happen in live games just as much as online games, the difference is, most of us play a lot more online so we see more bad beats and then begin to think there is something going on. The only thing that is really going on is there are some people that play any hand online but in live action, they tend to be tighter so they dont call a preflop raise with a 3 9 off suit to start with.

Yes, I heard about this a couple years ago. It is only possible if you download software from not the original site, then hackers may be able to see your computer screen.

Yup. No doubt that the OP is referring to this ^ (the UltimateBet/Absolute Poker superuser scandal, where an insider was able to see other player's hole cards (Russ Hamilton, former wsop MainEvent winner was the one responsible for the fraud).
The 60 minutes special on it is from 10 YEARS AGO people!

I came across a YouTube video of someone claiming to have a program like this. All of he people in the comments were claiming it was fake, but really, who knows. As mentioned by other users above there are some pretty intelligent criminals out there!

This get me wondering I play in black chip poker and I saw 4 of a kind three times during one tourney. I was totally bummed thinking I was being taken what is the best site in the minds of other players. and is black chip on the level. I do hope they are.

I have never since or heard of a program like that. I do think it is out there tho. I think poker sites would be prepared for that but sometimes the programmers can out wit the sites.
