I can't wait until poker becomes legal online!!!! I can't make to the casino all the time because it is two hours away... I play online At Carbon poker which is a decent site but I miss pokerstars..

I know what you mean. I work FT and don't have much time to travel back and forth to play live, so I like the convenience of being able to play a few hours after work and on weekends. It's just so silly that the ROW can play safely and we can't. Carbon has been decent to play on, and I'm glad we have that, but it's hard to trust putting much funds on any site right now. I'm hopeful we can change our situation though, so Thurs done!

Today's plan calls for us to target Indiana legislators. What good does it do me, from California, to act on Indiana issues?

Other than the Senators from Indiana, all I foresee is a lot of emails to ignore or delete?

I think that in many states, there isn't enough of a player base who are participating in advocacy to get out a good response, so it makes sense to me that even though we are from different states, we can support the efforts in all the states. With the efforts going state-by-state now, it spreads all of us pretty thin. I hope when things are looked at in my tiny population state, we can get support from all advocates across the nation. Of course, this is imo, not sure what TE thinks.

We're not emailing lawmakers from other states. Rather, we are using social media -- a media designed not to have geographic constraints -- to reach out and explain that people want online poker.

We need to help one another out. Surely you'll want support from residents of other states in the CA fight. Also, as more states come on board, the remaining states will be under more pressure to move as well. Gov. Brown has frequently cited the actions in NV and NJ as reasons CA should move forward, in fact.
